dc.description	It is important that patients attending dental healthcare institutions gained knowledge about dental and oral care. Therefore, dental healthcare specialists are taking the initiative to educate their patients about the individual oral hygiene in order to prevent and reduce oral diseases. In course of this study it was relevant to identify the approach of patients attending private and state-run dental healthcare facilities towards the meaning of individual oral hygiene education.
