| dc.description | Final goal is to expose dental assistants knowledge about a healthy lifestyle. For research tasks: 1. Theory to explain the concept of a healthy lifestyle. 2. Describe the conservation measures of health and prevention. 3. Disclose assistants dentists knowledge about oral health prevention. 4. Set dentists assistants knowledge about healthy lifestyles. In this paper, a scientific literature review and survey. The study took place in the year 2019 on April 20 - May 5, participated in the survey, 114 dentists assistants. In order to assess dentists assistants knowledge about a healthy lifestyle, it was a quantitative study of selected data collection method - anonymous survey. Results. The study involved 114 respondents. The results revealed that all the 114 respondents know what should be the frequency of cleaning teeth. Almost all say they know how to clean teeth correctly 99.1%. The best known preventive measure oral health - individual and professional oral hygiene, chosen by 112 respondents. The majority of respondents, 86% correctly refers to preventive health inspection frequency, the required amount of fluoride in drinking water and vitamins important oral health. Almost all of the 98.2% of respondents healthy lifestyle are linked with the improvement of oral health. Almost all respondents participated in the survey, 93% correctly define the concept of a healthy lifestyle. Most of the 80% of respondents know what is healthy eating habits, the required daily physical activity, work and rest. Knowledge about healthy lifestyles, respondents most often get from the Internet 29.4%, to a lesser extent from books and television 22.6% to 17.9%. More than half of the surveyed dentists assistants 55% believe that they have enough knowledge about healthy lifestyles. Conclusions. The results of the study showed that dentists assistants knowledge about healthy lifestyle are sufficient. Of the respondents to properly define the concept of a healthy lifestyle. | dc.description.abstract | PSO sveikatą apibrėžia ne tik kaip ligos ar negalios nebuvimą, o kaip socialinę, fizinę, psichinę ir dvasinę žmogaus gerovę. Net 50 proc. sveikatos lemia žmogaus elgsena arba gyvenimo būdas: fizinis aktyvumas, mityba, žalingi įpročiai, darbo-poilsio režimas, patiriamas stresas. Lietuva kartu su Baltijos šalimis dalyvauja tarptautiniame sveikatą veikiančios gyvensenos tyrime (FINBALT HEALTH MONITOR), kurio tikslas įvertinti gyventojų gyvenseną ir stebėti jos pokyčius. Svarbu atkleisti gyvensenos pokyčius, į kuriuos bus atsižvelgta kuriant sveikatos gerinimo programas ir jų efektyvumą. Europos šalyse atlikti gyventojų sveikatos tyrimai parodė, kad investicijos į sveikos gyvensenos progagavimą švietimą atsiperka, visuomenėje stebimi didžiuliai teigiami ne tik sveikatos, bet ir ekonominiai efektai – mažiau žmonių serga, mažiau prarandama lėšų dėl nedarbingumo dienų, mirčių, gydymo paslaugų, vaistų ir pan. Visuomenės sveikatos požiūriu sveika gyvensena yra didžiulė vertybė. Šiame darbe pristatomu tyrimu siekiama, atskleisti gydytojų odontologų padėjėjų žinias apie sveiką gyvenseną. Tikimasi, jog šio tyrimo metu gautieji rezultatai bus naudingi gydytojų odontologų padėjėjams, tobulinant profesines žinias bei gerinant darbo kokybiškumą | en_US |
