dc.description	This final thesis company's wired and wireless computer network and their technologies is being analysed. The main focus is on upgrading the local and wireless network, using the most appropriate solution for all the needs of the company, which is to update the local network and to expand the wireless network. Renewal would be beneficial to company, because employees and guests would be provided with wireless network and have access to it in any companies building with a separate wireless connection to the network. The upgrade of local and wireless network is planned to have the equipment, which would speed up employee access to the information and ban guests from access to company’s data. The problem – the number of employees has grown. That is why the company, depending on the possibilities, needs to launch new cables, buy new switches and wireless access points. New employees, to be able to work, has to connect to a wireless network, but when there are more employees connected to wireless network, the speed of the network starts to drop. In that case, employees have to connect to the guest wireless network, which is also occupied (is being used) by guests or clients. The object – local company network, analysis equipment and tools for a network renewal. The aim – to analyse company's existing local area network capabilities and to prepare a local network renewal project. Work tasks: 1. Perform an analysis of a functioning network; 2. Examine the existing local and wireless computer network equipment; 3. Examine the security level of the local network; 4. Analyse the technical condition of the existing network; 5. Perform local and wireless network strength measurements indoors; 6. Create a plan of material and financial resources for local network upgrades.	en
dc.description.abstract	Baigiamajame darbe yra analizuojamas įmonės laidinis ir bevielis kompiuterių tinklai bei jų technologijos. Pagrindinis dėmesys yra skiriamas vietinio ir bevielio tinklo atnaujinimui, kurio metu buvo parinktas tinkamiausias, visus įmonės poreikius tenkinantis, sprendimas – atnaujinti vietinį ir praplėsti bevielio ryšio tinklą.	en_US
