Professional Bachelor Thesis/ Scientific advisor Lecturer Nijole Vasiliauskiene, Kauno kolegija / University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Technologies, Catering department. – Kaunas, 2018. The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to develope a programme for a child‘s birthday party in the café “Juvilte”. Methods used to reach the aim of the thesis: source material analysis, research, calculations of the meniu. In the theoretical part of the thesis the pre-school children‘s nutritrional recomendations were analysed and summurised. In the technological part of the thesis, a research has been carried out to determine wheteher it was possible to manufacture dishes according to the literature specifications. Based on the practical study it was established that food preparation according to guidelined diatery cook-book was extremely difficult. The outlined weights were too precise, without taking in to consideration loses during primary production. Adding to this, other recipies lacked percision in the preparation guidelines. Healthier products was incorporated into the existing meal plans. For the execution of the birthday programme, customers have been given a dish-list, from which they chose the desired dishes. Technological and nutritional value cards were developed for the meal-plans, as well as the estimated cost cards and the technological schemes drawn up. Food will be prepared in accordance with established hygiene standards, using safe and properly maintained equipment and inventory. The economical part of the thesis includes: calculations of the cafes revenue after the executed event. Calculations for following expenses: electricity, water, raw materials and etc. Party price 205.34 €, of their profits 86.55 €. The author of the Professional Bachelor Thesis recommends to enquire the customers after every party wether the client found the event succesful, as well as the quality fo the served dishes. dc.description.abstract	Baigiamojo darbo tikslas - suorganizuoti vaiko gimtadienį “Juviltė” kavinėje. Darbo tikslui įgyvendinti numatyti šie metodai: informacijos šaltinių analizė, tyrimas, valgiaraščio skaičiavimai. Teorinėje darbo dalyje apibendrinamos ikimokyklinio amžiaus vaikų mitybos rekomendacijos. Technologinėje dalyje atliktas tyrimas, kurio metu aiškintasi ar galima pagaminti patiekalus pagal rekomenduojamą receptūrų šaltinį. Remiantis tyrimų išaiškėjo, jog pagaminti labai sunku, svoriai yra per daug tikslūs, neįvertinti pirminio apdorojimo nuostoliai, kitose receptūrose trūksta konkretumo. Į valgiaraštį yra įtraukti produktai, kurie sveikesni. Organizuojant gimtadienį užsakovams buvo pateiktas valgiaraštis iš kurio buvo išsirinkti norimi patiekalai. Jiems parengtos 4 technologijos bei 4 maistinės vertės kortelės, taip pat paskaičiuotos 4 savikainos kortelės, nubraižytos technologinės schemos. Maistas bus ruošiamas laikantis nustatytų higienos normų reikalavimų, naudojant saugius ir tinkamai prižiūrimus įrenginius ir inventorių. Ekonominėje dalyje apskaičiuojamas kavinės pelnas nuo šio renginio. Apskaičiuojamos išlaidos: elektrai, vandeniui, žaliavoms, bei kitoms priemonėms. Gimtadienis kainuos 205.34 €, iš jų pelną sudaro 86.55 €. Rekomenduojama po kiekvieno renginio pasiteirauti užsakovų kaip pavyko renginys, ar esą patenkinti maisto kokybe.	en_US
