| dc.description | Theese times people are having a lot of stress, thats why they grind their teeth at nights. By grinding teeths occlusal surfaces are being destroyed, and that leads to temporomandibular joint disfunction. Unfortunately, nowadays dentistry is lacking attention for joint. Occlusal splint is quite a popular way to treat TMJ. In this work are described the stages of making an occlusal splint with hard core. The object – TMJ function reabilitation by occlusal splint and its making stages. The problem – can the occlusal splint therapy get TMJ to its natural possition? The aim – evaluate the success rate of treating TMJ disfunction having people. Work tasks : 1. Reveal the TMJ disfunction treating by occlusal splints success rate restoring the primary possition. 2. To make and describe the stages of making occlusal splint. Methods: 1. Analysing scientific literature. 2. Occlusal splint production. Conclusions: 1. There are lots of people having TMJ‘s disorders. Theese disorders gained by changed occlusion, stress or some kind of other habits, like hard bite, which leads to different muscular tenses. That leads to headache, jaw clicking and moving difficulties. 2. Occlusal splint with hard core has been made and described the making stages of it. | en |
