dc.description Research problem The concept of sustainable development is known for a long time and is a subject of various scientific research. The relevance of sustainable development is raised by society’s economic problems, uprising nature preservation, pollution reduction and various social problem goals and tasks. The propagation of sustainable development ideas and the conveying of relevant values is delegated to different international organizations and education systems. It is very important, that sustainable development, nature conservation, healthy lifestyle and other provisions are taught during preschool. To reach this, the most important sustainable development provision, values and methods could be integrated into preschool institution strategies. There is no data from scientific research about preschool institution strategies, oriented at the execution of sustainable development provisions and related values in scientific literature. Preschool education institutions, seeking to realize the ideas of sustainable development, are not devising strategies, suited to the task. Research goal – to find out about assumptions for creating and executing strategies, based upon sustainable development values for preschool institutions. Research tasks: 1. To give theoretical insights to the choice, formation and realization of preschool education institutions strategies, based upon sustainable development formation essential provisions and values. 2. Find the conditions, that actuate and break the formation and realization of preschool education institutions strategies, based upon sustainable development values. 3. To prepare and realize an education project to the community of a preschool education, accenting the conveyance of sustainable development values. Research methods: scientific literature analysis, document analysis, observation, survey, (partially structured interview), activity reflection. Conclusions: 1. Essential sustainable development provision and value education is provided in all links of the education system, therefore preschool education institutions, while projecting their activity strategies should follow confirmed education methods, orientate at the provisions, goals, values and ways of working in international organizations and national documents. 2. The conditions’, that actuate and break the formation and realization of preschool education institutions strategies, based upon sustainable development values, empirical search has confirmed the staff members’ commitement to changing strategic activity documents, their knowledge of sustainable development and the fact, that teachers are not taking part in training events, that are commited to gaining educational competence for sustainable development. 3. Assumptions for creating and executing strategies, based upon sustainable development values for preschool institutions is associated with different document requirements, staff training, the integration of sustainable development content in the institutional activities and the suitability of various preschool education methods to elaborate the sustainable development spectrum 4. The prepared and realized education project has confirmed the relevance of adding nature preservation ideas to the preschool education content. en

Ikimokyklinio ugdymo įstaigos, siekiančios savo veikloje įgyvendinti darnaus vystymosi koncepcijai priskiriamas idėjas, nekuria darnaus vystymosi vertybėmis pagrįstų veiklos strategijų. aptinkama ir ugdymo praktikoje.
