dc.description As the emigration accelerates, the preservation of demographic, national identity, cultural and intellectual potential of the nation weakens. The awakening, education and nurturing of national identity is one of the most pressing problems in today’s context. An increasing number of scientists of various fields emphasize the importance of maintaining national identity in emigration, by highlighting its importance to the process of personal development. Although many specialists of various fields have recently been focusing attention on maintaining national identity, the studies show a steady weakening of national awareness, which raises the problem of how to develop and preserve the national identity of preschool children growing up in England in the context of globalization. What are the conditions for children of pre-school age to develop a national identity in emigration? What is the attitude of families towards the development of national identity?
