Relevance and novelty. Social bonds, sociality, communication and cooperation are important phenomena and processes in all sheres of life. The process of education is not an exception. Here communication and cooperation is important between an educator and children as well as between an educator and children„s parents. According to academic literature, cooperation between an educator and children„s parents (its different forms and strategies) is an essential condition to education, educational tool, form of education, content of education and even one of the fundamental objectives of education. Therefore, this topic is without doubt relevant and worth to be analised. The aim of the research. To reveal reality and possibilities of cooperation between educators and children„s parents at a preschool establishment. The objectives of the research: 1. To discuss the problems, forms, ways, models and strategies of cooperation between preschool educators and children‟s parents. 2. To analise reality and new possibilities of cooperation between preschool educators and children„s parents. 3. To carry out an educational project “Me and my family“ in order to encourage cooperation between members of preschool community: teachers, parents and children. The methods of the research: the analysis of scientific literature, analysis of documents, questionnaire survey, reflection on practice. The conclusions: the analysis of reality and possibilities revealed that: 1. Cooperation is important and necessary for parents and educators. 2. Preschool teachers and children‟s parents estimate the applied forms and strategies of cooperation positively. 3. Both parents and educators would like to add social networking sites and telephoning to the list of cooperation strategies. 4. Both parents and educators tend to cooperate, look for the best solutions and willingly involve them selves into the educational process but sometimes they lack time. |
