dc.description Relevance of the theme: Speech is the main tool of communication which, as the system, exists independently of us. It is often difficult to precisely differentiate between speech sound disorders of children due to subtle differences, as well as the lack of identification, evaluation methods and instruments that limit the quality of assessment. One of the communication tasks of pre-school children is to speak in a bold, accurate, clear, and expressive manner. Aim of the paper: to reveal the possibilities to correct speech disorders in pre-school children by using folklore. Objectives of the paper: 1. To theoretically ground the possibilities to correct speech disorders in pre-school children by using folklore. 2. To determine the possibilities to correct speech disorders in pre-school children by using folklore. 3. To initiate, plan, and realize an educational project in educational practice. Methods of the research:  Analysis of scientific literature with the aim to find out the possibilities to correct speech disorders in pre-school children by using folklore.  Written and verbal surveys. Conclusions: The analysis of scientific literature revealed that children‟s speech plays a very important role in the development of communication. In order his speech would be correct and clear, a child should be properly spoken with and given a good example of speech. The speech of many pre-school children is irregular and underdeveloped. Articulation exercises help to develop and correct the speech, as well as to solve the issues of pronunciation. The results of the research revealed that all pre-primary education groups of pre-school education institutions include some children with speech disorders. Most often children fail to pronounce the sounds š, ţ, č, r. Both educators and parents agree that folklore texts help to correct the children‟s speech. The educational project “Correct speaking” involved a number of methods to correct the speech of children, to develop their articulation apparatus, and to improve their writing skills. The project took place according to the intended plan, all activity stages were implemented. en
dc.description.abstract Vaikų kalba atlieka labai didelį vaidmenį komunikacijos ugdymui. Kad vaiko kalba būtų taisyklinga ir aiški, reikėtų su vaiku kalbėti taisyklingai ir rodyti jam gerą kalbos pavyzdį. Tyrimų rezultatai atskleidė, kad visose ikimokyklinio ugdymo įstaigose priešmokyklinio ugdymo grupėse yra vaikų, turinčių kalbos sutrikimų. Dažniausiai vaikai netaria garsų š, ž č, r. en_US
