dc.description	Identification of the problem / relevance of the research. Lithuanian and foreign authors discuss about the benefits of music for human a lot , Many of authors do not forget the importance of rhythm and rhythm. According to Campbell D. (2005) "music in its own rhythm, sounds and tones creates remarkable relationships in the hearts of people, which strengthens the child's intelligence and expression skills", while Vaišvilienė J. (2004) considers rhythmic perception or rhythmic hearing as one of the most important musical talents of a child The aim/goal of the paper: is to analyze the possibilities of using rhythmic for the development of artistic competence of preschool children The subject of the paper: possibilities of using rhythmic for the development of artistic competence of preschool children. Objectives of the paper: 1. To analyze the possibilities of using rhythm in the development of pre-school age artistic competence 2. To perform empirical research on the development of artistic competence of preschool children using rhythm. 3. On the basis of the research results, plan, initiate and implement the educational project; Research methods: analysis of scientific literature, interview Conclusions: the research has revealed that educators integrate the rhythm into the educational process in a rather limited way and even less use rhythmic art to develop children's artistic competence or creativity.	en
