Kauno centrinio pašto rūmų Kaune Laisvės al. 102 interjero projektas
1918-1939m. Kaunui tapus laikinąja Lietuvos sostine buvo pastatyti žymiausi modernizmo ir tautinio stiliaus pastatai. Kaune yra daugiau nei 6000 modernizmo pastatų, kurie miestą daro išskirtinį, tačiau dabar pagrindinė problema yra pastatų nepriežiūra, nes dauguma to meto statinių buvo netinkamai prižiūrėti, nerenovuoti, apleisti.
Geriausiai tarpukario modernizmo stilių reprezentuoja Kauno centrinio pašto rūmai.
Tikslas: Suprojektuoti centrinio pašto viešbučio interjerą, išsaugoti paveldą, atverti pastatą visuomenei, sukurti ryšį tarp Kauno miesto ir turistų.
Meninė koncepcija: pagrindinė interjero idėja – prisiliesti neprisiliečiant. Interjero idėja yra sujungti seną ir naują į bendrą visumą, kur paveldas, istorija, tradicija susilieja, bet kontrastuoja su šiuolaikiniu dizainu ir inovacijomis. Viešbutyje išsaugota viskas, kas autentiška, paveldą siekiama eksplotuoti, ištransliuoti turistams, paskatinti susidomėti modernizmo stiliumi ir jį pažinti. Pagrindinis interjero projektavimo principas – išsaugoti paveldą, jį ištransliuoti, tačiau prie jo nesiliesti. Interjere susijungia praeities, dabarties ir ateities sprendiniai.
Išanalizavus visą surinktą informaciją sukurtas Kauno centrinio pašto rūmų viešbučio interjeras, kuriama išsaugota viskas, kas autentiška. Reprezentaciniame pastate įkurtas viešbutis ištransliuoja žinią, jog Kaune vyrauja modernizmo stiliaus ir jog viešbutyje laukiamas kiekvienas.

Design of the Interior of Kaunas Central Post Office at 102 Laisvės Ave., Kaunas
Kaunas was temporary capital of Lithuania in 1918-1939. The most famous buildings of
modernism and national style were built in the interwar period. There are more than 6000 modernist
buildings in Kaunas that make the city unique. Nowadays the main problem is the neglect of
buildings, as most of the buildings at that time were inadequately maintained and not renovated.
Kaunas Central Post Office represents the best style of interwar modernism.
Aim: To design the interior of the central post office, maintain the heritage, open the
building to the public and create a connection between Kaunas city and tourists.
Concept: The main idea of the interior is to touch without touching. The idea of the interior
is to combine old and new into entirety, where heritage, history, tradition merge, but contrast with
modern design and innovation. The hotel preserves everything that is authentic. Heritage is aimed to
explode to tourists and stimulate interest in modernism. The main principle of interior design is to
preserve and exhibit the heritage but not to touch it. The interior combines past, present and future
solutions.
After analyzing all the collected information, the interior of the hotel was built in Kaunas
Central Postal House where everything is authentic. In a representative building founded hotel
broadcasts the message that Kaunas represents modernism style and everybody are welcome in the
hotel.
