dc.description	Professional Bachelor's Thesis of Aurelija Armaitytė – 'The role of pharmaceutical specialist shaping older people's attitudes towards rational use of analgesics '. Supervisor: Regina Motienė. Department: Department of Pharmacotherapy of Faculty of Medicine of Kauno Kolegija. Objective. To reveal the role of pharmaceutical specialist shaping older people’s attitudes towards rational use of analgesics. Tasks. To emphasize the concept of analgesic, their classification. To describe the reasons of irrational analgesics use among elderly people. To reveal the role of pharmaceutical specialist shaping older people’s attitudes towards rational use of analgesics. Methods. The study was carried out using an anonymous questionnaire, to which answer agreed 52 pharmaceutical specialist. The survey results. Pharmaceutical specialists who participated in this survey, said that they usually talk to the patients 1-5 minutes, in this case, they inform how to use this analgesics safe, warn of the danger to cure without the doctor’s consultation, use the pain treatment module to every patient. The big amount of pharmaceutical specialists suggest non-drug treatment, if analgesics are not necessary, or non-drug treatment can be chosen as a non-primary treatment. The regulation of nutrition and physiotherapy are mostly suggest as non-drug treatment of pain. Mostly patients buy non- prescriptionsanalgesics, and their activity material is ibuprofen. Finding. Analgesics are widely and often use as non-prescriptions cures. These cures are especially safe, but the secondary influence can show, if we use them wrongly. There are four groups of analgesics in the pain pharmacology. The review of literature show, that the elderly people use cures unreasonably, they use several cures at the same time. Also due to the complicated cure diagram, the wrong tare. People constantly use cures using their own opinion. Due to the wrong understanding or non-reading the instruction how to use this cure or using alcohol with cures. When the survey was done, became evident, that pharmaceutical specialists always inform the patients how effectively and safely to use analgesics, how often and how long to use them, warn about the secondary influence, make sure that the patient understand this information, and inform that the patient has to advise with his doctor. Before using the individual pain treatment module pharmaceutical specialists clear up what kind of pain has the patient got. Before recommending analgesics pharmaceutical specialists clear up the patient’s medical state, the case – history, using cures at the moment, and used cures in the past. Inform about analgesics secondary influence and give all necessary information how to use analgesics. Also inform about the self – treatment risk: to use different cures and to use similar cures so long time, about the wrong dose of cures, about the wrong diagnosis of symptoms and the wrong choice of treatment.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Baigiamajame bakalauro darbe buvo apibūdinti analgetikai ir jų klasifikacija. Aptarta neracionalaus analgetikų vartojimo priežastys vyresniame amžiuje. Aprašyta farmacijos specialistų teikiama farmacinė paslauga išduodant nereceptinius analgetikus. Nustatyti farmacijos specialistų veiksmai, išduodant nereceptinius analgetikus ir jų racionalizavimą. Išnagrinėjus mokslinę - dalykinę literatūrą bei atlikus duomenų analizę buvo pateiktos išvados. Darbą sudaro įvadas, trys skyriai, išvados, literatūros sąrašas, priedai. Darbo apimtis – 50 psl. 33 bibliografinių šaltinių	en_US
