dc.description	Revelance of the work. The number of old people in Lithuania is increasing every year, based on the statistics of the demographic old age ratio of the Statistics of Lithuania (2014-2018). The number of old people is increasing not only in Lithuania, but also in the whole world. Gaigaliene D. (2002) writes that, according to UN research, in 2025 the number of old people in the world will increase significantly, more than 1 billion, which means that old people will make up about 15 per cent of the world's population (Gaigalienė D., 2002). In Lithuania, social workers started their activity only after the restoration of independence, alongside with the social worker with old people. According to S. Koskinen, (2002) social work with old people was not very popular all over the world because social workers often had negative attitudes towards old people (Koskinen S., 2002). Research conducted by Mikulionienė S., Stankūnienė V., Mitrikas A. A. studied public's provisions towards old people and old age, but one can say that the future social workers provisions towards social work with old people in social care institutions has not been analyzed. Aim of the research - to disclose the attitudes of future social workers to social work with old people in social care homes. Objective of the research - attitudes of future social workers to social work with old people in social care homes. Question of the research: what are the attitudes of future social workers to social work with old people in social care homes? Methods of the research: an empirical quantitative research using empirical quantitative survey and analysis of research data. Results of research: Revealed attitudes of future social workers provisions to social work with old people in social care homes.	en
dc.description.abstract	Kasmet Lietuvoje vis daugėja senų žmonių, remiantis Lietuvos statistikos departamento demografinės senatvės koeficiento statistika (20142018). Senų žmonių daugėja ne tik Lietuvoje, bet ir visame pasaulyje. Gaigalienė D. (2002) rašo, jog pagal JTO atliktus tyrimus, 2025 metais senų žmonių pasaulyje žymiai padaugės, jų bus daugiau nei 1 milijardas, tai reiškia, kad seni žmonės sudarys apie 15 procentų visų pasaulio gyventojų (Gaigalienė D., 2002). Lietuvoje socialinius darbuotojus pradėta rengti tik atkūrus nepriklausomybę, tuo pačiu laikotarpiu Lietuvoje prasidėjo ir socialinis darbas su senais asmenimis. Pasak S. Koskinen, (2002) socialinis darbas su senais asmenimis nebuvo labai populiarus visame pasaulyje, nes socialiniai darbuotojai dažnai turėdavo neigiamas nuostatas į senus asmenis (Koskinen S., 2002). Mikulionienė S., Stankūnienė V., Mitriko A. A. tyrė visuomenės nuostatas į senus žmones ir senatvę, bet galima sakyti nėra nagrinėta būsimų socialinių darbuotojų nuostatos į socialinį darbą su senais asmenimis dirbant socialinės globos įstaigose	en_US
