Creams are composed of two main lipophilic and hydrophilic bases, which do not mix with each other and emulsifiers are used. Comparing ointments, lotions and creams – the ointments contain more fatty phases, so they are relatively fat, the lotions have more hydrophilic phases, so they are more liquid and creams are like an intermediate. Propolis – is natural wax form resin, which is found in beehives. Propolis is one of the strongest natural antibiotics which has a wide range of antimicrobial operation, that is why it is relevant to model semi-stiff forms of the drug, which has inserted ethanol propolis extracts. Work problem – what is the effect of the amount of ethanol extract of bee pitch on the appearance, color, smell and consistency of semi - solid preparations. The aim - to create a semi – solid forms - creams with ethanol extracts of propolis technology and assess their quality. Work tasks: 1. Review the properties of skin, the characteristics of dermatological preparations and the substances used to make creams. 2. Create creams composition and production technology with ethanol extracts of bee pitch. 3. To evaluate the pH values, stability and organoleptic properties of the prepared preparations. Research methods. Theoretical analysis method was used to review and describe scientific articles, books and other literature related to the topic of the final thesis. An empirical research method was conducted organoleptic properties of the investigation, which determined the attractiveness of consumer creams with ethanol extracts of propolis; „cold – heating“ cycle test, which determined the stability of the creams produced; the pH values of the prepared creams were evaluated in the pHvalue study. Statistical research methods, according to the obtained results, are presented in graphs and tables. Work subjects. 380 respondents participated in the organoleptic properties of the investigation. Everyone had equal access to the trial - the usual random selection. In the "cold - heating" cycle and in the determination of pH values, three emulsion V/A type creams were tested with ethanol extracts of propolis. Results of empirical research. In summary we can say that the first cream with propolis ethanol extract has excellent/very good organoleptic properties, the second cream with propolis ethanol extract has very good/good organoleptic properties, but the third cream with propolis ethanol extract has only not bad/poor organoleptic properties. The conclusions of the empirical research. In summary we can say that the first preparation with ethanol extracts of bee pitch is the most attractive to the consumer and the most stable, but penetration into the skin is poor, and the third preparation with ethanol extracts of bee pitch is most unattractive to consumers and unstable, but penetration into the skin is excellent. |

Darbo apimtis – 41 psl. 77 bibliografinių šaltinių. |
