dc.description	Cities are increasingly expanding, the traffic is getting more and more intense, the number of cars is getting bigger and also new streets has an affect on already huge noise pollution. The distance between the urban streets and residential buildings are depleting, reducing the possibility of a noise-insulating walls. Some urban areas can no longer be used for planting,because noise barrier is too close. Very large amount of urban streets don‘t have a noise-insulating walls, and in particular - old town, where the street is very narrow and based on the stone. Final thesis estimates how many buildings are experiencing excessive noise levels in Plungė city. The research shows that the excessive noise level of roads no. 166, 164 and 3201 reaches 83 residential buildings during the day, during the night – 111 and evening – 104 buildings. This accounts to 3,6% of all residential buildings in Plungė city. To prevent this, you need to build screen walls, concrete barriers or green areas. Concrete walls keeps the noise level at its best, up to 45 dB (A). The worst of all is steel, fir-tree or aluminum sheet walls, only from 20-25 dB (A). The main source of noise in the surrounding environment has been found to be noise from cars. It ranges from 2408 (Truikai - Prūsaliai) to 3862 (Plungė - Vėžaičiai) cars per day.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Baigiamajame darbo tyrime apskaičiuota, kiek gyvenamųjų pastatų patiria per didelį triukšmo lygį Plungės mieste. Nustatyta, kad valstybinės reikšmės krašto keliuose Nr. 166, 164 ir rajoniniame kelyje Nr. 3201 sukeliamas triukšmo lygis veikia 83 gyvenamuosius pastatus dienos metu, 111 – nakties metu, o vakaro metu – 104 pastatus. Tai sudaro apie 3,6% visų gyvenamųjų pastatų Plungės mieste. Norint nuo to apsisaugoti reikia statyti ekranines sieneles, betoninius užtvarus ar įrengti žaliąsias zonas. Geriausiai triukšmo lygį sulaiko betoninės sienelės – net iki 45 dB(A). Blogiausiai – tai plieno, eglinės medienos ar aliuminio skardos sienelės, tik nuo 20-25 dB(A). Nustatyta, kad pagrindinis foninis triukšmo šaltinis supančioje aplinkoje yra automobilių transporto sukeliamas triukšmas, svyruojantis nuo 2408 (Truikiai – Prūsaliai) iki 3862 (Plungė – Vėžaičiai) automobilių per parą.	en_US
