The subject of this work is patient’s opinion about the medicines used to treat arterial hypertension. Arterial hypertension is an elevated blood pressure which remains long time. Millions of people in the world dies from this disease and in Lithuania morbidity is very high. Patients who have started taking medicines for hypertension must use it rationally, follow doctor’s instructions and follow the advice of a pharmaceutical specialist and use non-medical treatment. Also important that patients receive all necessary information about medication that reduce blood pressure. The purpose of this work is to reveal the opinion of the patients about the drugs against arterial hypertension. Work tasks: to reveal the danger of the disease in Lithuania and the world, to distinguish the medicinal products from arterial hypertension, to describe the importance and benefits of the pharmaceutical specialist, to reveal the attitudes of the patients about the medication used and to determine the peculiarities of the use. This work provides information on arterial hypertension, its symptoms, course of disease, prevention, treatment, and etc. The empirical part looked at the patients' attitudes towards the medication they use. In the survey participated 166 patients from Kaunas. Respondents completed anonymous surveys. The results were shown in diagrams. The results have shown that the people who are trying to use the medication correctly follow the instructions of the doctors and contact the pharmaceutical specialist for medication interactions. Also many patients felt improvement at short time. At the end of study, it was concluded that it’s very important to follow healthy diet and active lifestyle and if you’ll see first symptoms, contact with specialist. Medicinal products for arterial hypertension are divided into five main groups: diuretics, calcium channel blockers, beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors and angiotensin receptor blockers. These medicines may only prescribed by a doctor. The pharmaceutical practitioner is also important in the treatment of arterial hypertension because the patient hears about medicines interactions, possible side effects, and other uses. Therefore, it is very important to provide a targeted and professional pharmaceutical service and ensure the correct use of medicines by patients and remind the patients that they must take care of themselves. |

Baigiamajame bakalauro darbe buvo paaiškinta arterinės hipertenzijos liga, simptomai, priežastys, rizikos veiksniai. Aprašyti medikamentinis ir nemedikamentinis ligos gydymas.
Ištirtas gyventojų požiūris apie vaistus nuo arterinės hipertenzijos. Išanalizavus mokslinę literatūrą bei atlikus duomenų analizę, buvo pateiktos išvados. Darbą sudaro turinys, santrauka, įvadas, du skyriai, išvados, rekomendacijos literatūros sąrašas, priedai. Darbo apimtis – 53psl. 27 bibliografinių šaltinių |
