dc.description	The decision to choose the topic on social service enhancement was influenced by its relevance in present day society because every person has a right to fulfill basic needs and have better living conditions. Enhancement of social services plays a big role in the area. That is why it is important that social services that are delivered would be of high quality and in accordance to the needs of consumers. The main problem of thesis: What measures could help to improve the quality of services provided by the social service center of Tauragė? The aim of thesis: analyze social services provided by the social service center of Tauragė and give recommendations for the enhancement of provided services. Methods of the thesis: analysis of scientific literature, online sources, articles, statistical data and questionnaire survey. Structure of the thesis: the final work consists of three parts: The first part consists of the concept of service and service quality, classification of social services and assessment of the need. The second part consists of presentation of the activities of Tauragė social services centre, analyse factors which most affect the macro environment and describe methods of service research and analysis of the provided services. The third part consists of the results presentation of the research and the possibilities to improve the quality of services provided by Tauragė social service centre. Results of thesis: it was determined that excluding fulfillment of basic needs, lonely elderly people lack communication. For that reason, in order to enhance existing services of the center of social services, the following suggestions were made: provide psychologist services, raise the qualification of social workers, foresee work at weekends, and establish hair cutting, rehabilitation and message services. dc.description.abstract	Pasirinkti socialinių paslaugų tobulinimo, paskatino jos aktualumas šiandieninėje visuomenėje, nes kiekvienas žmogus turi teisę į būtiniausių poreikių patenkinimą ir geresnes gyvenimo sąlygas. Čia svarbus vaidmuo tenka socialinių paslaugų tobulinimui. Todėl svarbu ne tik, kad būtų teikiamos socialinės paslaugos, bet, kad jos būtų reikiamos kokybiškos ir tokios, kurių pageidauja socialinių paslaugų vartotojai. Darbo problema. Kokių priemonių pagalba Tauragės socialinių paslaugų centras galėtų tobulinti teikiamas paslaugas? Darbo tikslas – išanalizavus socialines paslaugas teikiamas Tauragės socialinių paslaugų centre numatyti teikiamų paslaugų tobulinimo galimybes. Darbo metodai - mokslinės literatūros, internetinių šaltinių, straipsnių analizė, anketinė apklausa, statistinių duomenų analizė. Darbo struktūra. Baigiamąjį darbą sudaro 3 dalys: Pirmame skyriuje supažindinama su paslaugų samprata bei paslaugų kokybe. Pateikiama socialinių paslaugų klasifikavimas ir poreikio vertinimas; Antrame skyriuje apžvelgiama Tauragės socialinių paslaugų centro veikla. Nustatoma, kokie makroaplinkos veiksniai labiausiai įtakoja organizacijos veiklą. Pateikiama ir paslaugų tyrimo metodika bei teikiamų paslaugų analizė; Trečioje dalyje pateikiamos Tauragės socialinių paslaugų centro teikiamų paslaugų tobulinimo galimybės. Darbo rezultatai. Atlikus tyrimą buvo nustatyta, kad be pagrindinių poreikių patenkinimo paslaugų, senyvo amžiaus vienišiems žmonėms trūksta bendravimo. Todėl siekiant tobulinti jau esamas socialinių paslaugų centro paslaugas pasiūlyta: teikti psichologo paslaugas, kelti socialinių darbuotojų kvalifikaciją, numatyti darbą ir savaitgaliais, teikti kirpimo, reabilitacijos, masažo paslaugas. Darbą sudaro 54 puslapių, 3 lentelės, 28 paveikslai, 27 literatūros ir informavimo šaltiniai, 3 priedai.	en_US
