| dc.description | Significance of the study: kidney disorders may cause serious illnesses such as acute renal failure. One of the main and informative studies is kidney scintigraphy. Kidney Dynamic Scintigraphy not only detects and evaluates kidney function, but can also be used to measure kidney shape, size, location, focal changes, blood flow and urodynamics. Therefore, proper preparation of the patient for radionuclide kidney testing is necessary to obtain accurate test results. Aim of the study: to evaluate the peculiarities of patient preparation for radionuclide kidney diagnostics. The tasks: 1. Theoretically explain the essence of radionuclide kidney research. 2. To disclose patients’ knowledge of renal radionuclide studies. 3. To distinguish the peculiarities of patient preparation for radionuclide kidney diagnostics. Methods of the research: literature Analysis, Quantitative Research Method - Questionnaire Survey, which was conducted in 2019. January - March. After receiving the bioethics permission (Nr. BEC – KK(B) – 67), the survey was conducted at LSMUL Kaunas Clinics Department of Nuclear Medicine, respondents were selected for unrealistic, targeted selection, the received information was analyzed and processed using Microsoft Excel 2016 program. Data Analysis Method - Content Analysis The results and conclusions: The kidney radionuclide study is one of the most important and complex studies in the diagnosis of kidney disease using radiopharmaceuticals. This study provides an opportunity to evaluate renal function and to confirm or rule out suspected or existing kidney disease. The findings of the study revealed that a large proportion of patients had no information on the study, and did not know that radioactive material would be allowed to perform the study, but they felt that the study was important. The analysis of the data revealed that the most important features of the patient's preparation for radionuclide kidney diagnostics were the required amount of fluids (depending on the patient's body weight), the drugs (and the time after their use before the study) and the underlying diseases. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Baigiamąjį bakalaurinį darbą sudaro trys dalys. Pirmoji – teorinė dalis skirta literatūros analizei, antroji – empirinio tyrimo darbo metodui ir organizavimui, trečioji – tyrimo rezultatams ir viso darbo apibendrinimui. Darbo tikslas: įvertinti pacientų pasiruošimo ypatumus radionuklidinei inkstų diagnostikai. Darbo uždaviniai: 1. Teoriškai paaiškinti radionuklidinio tyrimo esmę. 2. Atskleisti pacientų žinias apie inkstų radionuklidinius tyrimus. 3. Išskirti pacientų pasiruošimo ypatumus radionuklidiniam inkstų tyrimui. Rezultatai ir išvados: 1. Inkstų radionuklidinis tyrimas yra vienas svarbesnių ir sudėtingesnių tyrimų diagnozuojant inkstų ligas, kurio metu yra naudojami radiofarmpreparatai. Šis tyrimas suteikia galimybę įvertinti inkstų funksciją ir patvirtinti arba atmesti įtariamą arba esamą inkstų patologiją. 2. Atskleidus respondentų žinias apie inkstų radionuklidinį tyrimą, gauti tyrimo rezultatai parodė, kad didelė pacientų dalis informacijos apie tyrimą neturėjo, taip pat nežinojo, kad tyrimui atlikti bus leidžama radioaktyvi medžiaga, tačiau jų nuomone, tyrimas - svarbus. 3. Atlikus tyrimo duomenų analizę, buvo išskirti, svarbiausi paciento pasiruošimo ypatumai radionuklidinei inkstų diagnostikai, tai – suvartotas reikiamas skysčių kiekis (priklausantis nuo paciento kūno svorio), vartojami vaistai (bei laikas praėjęs po jų vartojimo iki tyrimo) ir gretutinės ligos. | en_US |
