| dc.description | Relevancy: according to Merbach, A. S. (2013), magnetic resonance imaging examination is one of the most important tools in clinical diagnostics. Although, this type of analysis is expensive, the number of tests each year increases. In 2017 Lithuania these tests have been conducted more than 141 thousand times (VASPVT, 2018). Because of the lack of information available to the public often patients will feel anxious before the tests, which can affect the outcome of the image quality. For this reason nurses, that are available to assist patients, can inform them about the whole process of the examination (Akstinienė, 2018). Purpose: revealing knowledge of nurses about magnetic resonance imaging. Tasks: 1. Describe the magnetic resonance imaging; 2) Acquire information from nurses about their knowledge of magnetic resonance imaging in a form of a questionnaire; 3) Compare the results from a study conducted in 2010 and conclude the variation of information. After the literature analysis was done information was gathered about the theoretical side of the study, working principles and contraindications. For this study a quantitative form of research was conducted in a form of a questionnaire. The survey had 50 questions that were applicable to nurses about their knowledge of the magnetic resonance imaging. The collected information was processed using statistical analysis methods and compared to the data from the 2010 study. Results: Almost a fourth of the survey participants (24%) of general practice nurses once a week encounter a situation where an understanding of magnetic resonance imaging is required. The majority of participants (76%) would recommend training in this field because more than a half of the poll (58%) think that nurses provide too little information, because they are unsure of the validity of information they know to be true (54%). Conclusions: 1) It is important for nurses to have the knowledge about magnetic resonance imaging and its contraindications, because a lack of wisdom could resolve in harming the patients, personnel or nurses health; 2) A majority of the participants has the knowledge about magnetic resonance imaging and can perfectly address any questions that a patient may have; 3) After comparing the questionnaire results conducted this year and the research material done in 2010 a slight increase in number of participants had more knowledge in this field these days | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Baigiamąjį bakalauro darbą sudaro trys dalys. Pirmoji – teorinė dalis skirta literatūros analizei, antroji – empirinio tyrimo darbo metodui ir organizavimui, trečioji – tyrimo rezultatams ir viso darbo apibendrinimui. Darbo tikslas: atskleisti slaugytojų žinias apie magnetinio rezonanso tomografijos tyrimą. Darbo uždaviniai: 1. Aprašyti magnetinio rezonanso tomografijos tyrimą; 2. Nustatyti slaugytojų žinias apie magnetinio rezonanso tomografijos tyrimą anketinės apklausos būdu. 3. Atskleisti slaugytojų žinių pokytį palyginus su 2010 metais atlikto tokio paties tyrimo rezultatais. Tyrimo rezultatai: Beveik ketvirtadalis (24 proc.) bendrosios praktikos slaugytojų savo darbe susiduria su magnetinio rezonanso tomografijos tyrimu ne mažiau nei vieną kartą per savaitę. Didžioji dalis apklaustųjų (76 proc.) mano, jog mokymai apie šį tyrimą slaugytojams yra reikalingi, nes daugiau nei pusė (58 proc.) slaugytojų pacientams prieš tyrimą suteikia mažai informacijos, dėl nepasitikėjimo savo žiniomis (54 proc.). Išvados: 1. Slaugytojams svarbu žinoti apie magnetinio rezonanso tomografijos tyrimą ir jo kontraindikacijas, nes žinių trūkumas gali sukelti pavojų paciento, magnetinio rezonanso tomografijos personalo ar pačių slaugytojų saugai; 2. Didžioji dalis apklaustų slaugytojų turi pakankamai žinių apie magnetinio rezonanso tomografijos tyrimą ir gali tinkamai informuoti į šį tyrimą lydimus pacientus; 3. Palyginus slaugytojų žinias su prieš 9 metus atlikto tyrimo rezultatais atskleista, jog tiriamųjų žinios per šį laikotarpį pasikeitė nežymiai | en_US |
