dc.description	The relevance of the work- In the meantime, Lithuania has not yet done any investigation about information provided by nurses about the global screening of the newborns from mothers point of view. This study was made to find out whether the nurse shall inform the woman about the global screening of newborns and also mothers approach to information granted to them by the nurses. The aim of the work- To set an information by nurses about the global screening of the newborns from mothers point of view. The tasks are as follows- Analysis of the relevance and importance of global neonatal screening for further development of the child in Lithuania. To find out the views of mothers about the global screening of newborns. To figure out the mothers through life experience knowledge of global neonatal screening. Set up the methods of receipt of the information about the global screening of newborns, the initiative in clarifying the nurse. Methods of the study- In order to analyse the information provided by nurses to mothers from their point of view about the global newborn screening was conducted in a qualitative study, and was carried out in a semi structured survey. The study was conducted of the X family clinic, which was attended by up to 2 years have given birth 8 women and 2 for the first time expecting. Results of the study- The study has revealed the women's approach to how they evaluate the information provided by nurses. Half of the mothers surveyed gave a negative opinion about nurses, because no information was received from them or the nurse overstepped the medical terms. However, not all of the respondents, the nurse rated it badly, one-third said that the nurse had done her job and provided detailed information on global neonatal screening. One third of women had not enough information. Negative ratings prevailed. The results of this study show that nurses did not provide women with relevant information on global neonatal screening.	en_US
