The correlation between patient’s state of health and the scintigraphic tests of myocardial perfusion. The relevance of the study. According to Rinkuniene and others (2013), cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in Lithuania and entire Europe. Due to HBVD, 4.35 million people die every year in European region countries and 1.9 million in European Union states. According to the Hygiene Institute's Health Information Centre (2011), a higher percentage of females (65.1%) than males (47.7%) die when suffering from ischemic heart disease. The aim of the study: To determine the correlation between patient's state of health and myocardial perfusion scintigraphic tests. Objectives of the study: 1. Theoretically explain the essence of the myocardial perfusion scintigraphic examination. 2. Determine the factors influencing the scintigraphic tests of myocardial perfusion. 3. Assess the relationship between patient data and the medical results obtained from their myocardial perfusion examinations. Research methodology. The study was carried out at the LSMUL Kaunas Radiology Diagnostics Centre, Department of Nuclear Medicine, from 2018 February 12th till 2018 April 30th. A permit was received from the LSMU Bioethics Centre No. BEC - KK (B) - 12. A quantitative research (questionnaire survey) was selected. The survey was attended by 50 respondents. Respondents were selected based on non-probable, targeted selection. The study outcomes. After completing the analysis of questionnaire results, the factors influencing the myocardial perfusion examination were revealed as lack of knowledge about the test, low physical activity and concomitant illnesses. The results of medical findings (data) were determined to depend on the respondent's gender, age, body weight and occupation. Conclusion. The examination of scientific literature showed that scintigraphy of myocardial perfusion, using radiopharmaceuticals, is one of the most important and complicated tests practised to diagnose cardiovascular diseases. Myocardial perfusion scintigraphy was seen to provide an opportunity to evaluate cardiac activity and identify heart muscle areas that receive insufficient blood circulation. The research data analysis revealed that the main factors influencing the scintigraphic tests of myocardial perfusion are: the absence of physical activity, the concomitant diseases and the lack of information about the test. The findings of the myocardial perfusion examination were found to be related to patient gender, age, body weight and occupation.	en
dc.description.abstract	Baigiamąjį profesinio bakalauro darbą sudaro įvadas, du skyriai, išvados ir rekomendacijos. Pirmame darbo skyriuje pateikiama mokslinės literatūros miokardo perfuzijos scintigrafinio tyrimo tema analizė, atskleidžiama informacija apie sveikatą, širdies sandarą, funkciją ir pagrindines ligas. Pateikiama informacija apie miokardo perfuzijos scintigrafinio tyrimo metodiką, naudojamus radiofarmpreparatus ir veiksnius, įtakojančius šį tyrimą. Antroje dalyje: nagrinėjama ir aprašoma anketinės apklausos rezulatatai, įvertinant pacientų duomenų sąsajas su gautomis medicininėmis išvadomis. Darbo tikslas: nustatyti pacientų sveikatos būklės sąsajas su miokardo perfuzijos scintigrafiniais tyrimais. Uždaviniai: teoriškai paaiškinti miokardo perfuzijos scintigrafinio tyrimo esmę; nustatyti veiksnius, įtakojančius miokardo perfuzijos scintigrafinį tyrimą; įvertinti pacientų duomenų sąsajas su jiems atlikto miokardo perfuzijos tyrimo gautais medicininiais rezultatais. Rezultatai: atlikus anketinę apklausą, išryškėjo veiksniai įtakojantys, miokardo perfuzijos tyrimą, tai: žinių stoka apie tyrimą, per mažas fizinis aktyvumas, gretutinės ligos ir informacijos trūkumas apie tyrimą. Nustatyta, kad medicininių išvadų (duomenų) rezultatai priklauso: nuo respondento lyties, amžiaus, kūno masės bei darbo pobūdžio.	en_US
