Socialinis darbuotojas dirbdamas su socialinės rizikos šeimomis atlieka įvairias savo darbo funkcijas. Socialinės rizikos šeimos turi daugybė problemų, kurias išspręsti padeda socialinis darbuotojas. Socialinio darbuotojo darbas su socialinės rizikos šeimomis reikalauja daug kantrybės, užsispyrimo, ryžto. Dirbdamas su socialinės rizikos šeimomis socialinis darbuotojas patiria įvairius sunkumus, kurie susiję su dideliu darbo krūviu, sprendimų priėmimu, šeimos su kuria dirbama nuostatomis. Siekiant išsiaiškinti socialinio darbuotojo patiriamus sunkumus ir ateityje palengvinti socialinio darbuotojo darbą, svarbu išsiaiškinti su kokiais sunkumais susiduria socialinis darbuotojas dirbdamas šioje srityje.

Working with social risk families requires great patience, persistence and determination. A social worker faces various difficulties which are due to the heavy workload while working with such families. A social worker has to make decisions, and understand regulations of the family that he or she is working with. In order to facilitate future social worker job, it is important to understand the difficulties of this scope. The practical significance: work results provide information about the difficulties faced by the social worker that is working with social risk families. The purpose of the work: setting up the difficulties that social worker faces while working with social risk families. Job object: social work and difficulties experienced while working with social risk families. Question of the survey: what problems arise while working with social risk families? Testing method: a qualitative study. The conclusion of the research: The conclusion of the research: following the examination and identification of the difficulties faced by the social worker as known from the data it was found that from the difficulties encountered by social workers the most common problem is excessive workload. This exact problem is related to working with documents, a large number of social risk families per employee, institutional reluctance to communicate (often, authorities do not comply or not to cooperate with employees), emotional pressure (because social workers often suffer stress and are responsible for making important decisions). One more matter is public attitudes to the employee’s lack of maintenance to the social risk families if a crisis situation occurs.
