dc.description	The thesis examines the concept of the body in the modern consumer society. The body, like all other material objects, loses its meaning, is identified with the object, and therefore constituted. The main problem is that the body becomes its material content and parsing itself as a commodity. The author examines the perception of the body in art as an artwork and defines the phenomenological concept of the body of the French philosopher Maurice Merleau-Ponty.	en
dc.description.abstract	Darbe nagrinėjama kūno samprata šiuolaikinėje vartotojiškoje visuomenėje. Kūnas kaip ir visi kiti materialūs daiktai, praranda prasmę yra tapatinamas su daiktu, taigi sudaiktinamas. Aptariama pagrindinė problematika, kad kūnas savo gausumu tampa materija ir parsiduoda kaip prekė. Nagrinėjamas kūno suvokimas mene, kaip meno kūrinio ir apibrėžiama prancūzų filosofo Maurice Merleau – Ponty fenomenologinė kūno samprata.	en_US
