Darbe analizuojama viktimizacijos, kaip tapimo smurto auka proceso, raiška vizualiniame kontekste. Remiantis literatūra, teorinėje dalyje aptariama smurto artimoje aplinkoje struktūrinė prigimtis bei rūšys. Apžvelgiamas istorinis viktimizacijos kontekstas, vizualinė smurto artimoje aplinkoje raiška mene, fotografijoje bei reklamoje. Darbo metu iškelta hipotezė, jog šiuolaikinėje visuomenėje žiniasklaida ir viešieji ryšiai prisideda prie kultūros sukurtų stereotipinių vaidmenų. Socialinėje reklamoje, kurios tikslas – propaguoti ir stiprinti visuomenės gerovę, dažnai pastebimas seksualizuotas bei romantizuotas, moters, kaip smurto aukos įvaizdis. Kūrybinėje dalyje siekiama sukurti demokratiškumui neprieštaraujantį smurto aukos įvaizdį bei vizualinę koncepciją socialinės mados fotosesijos formatu.

The final thesis topic is „Expression and relevance of victimization in fashion”. The main subject analysed in this thesis will be the victimisation’s, as a process of becoming a victim, expression in the visual context. Literature review will be used to discuss the different types of abuse as well as the structural nature of abuse. The thesis will examine the historical context of abuse and visual expression of abuse within art, photography and advertisement. The hypothesis of this thesis states that in the modern society media and public relations contribute to the stereotypes attributed to the certain roles in the context of abuse. Even in socially responsible advertisement which primarily aims to promote and strenghten the wellbeing of our society, the representation of a female is often romanticized and sexualized with the female being presented as the victim of abuse. The assesment of victimization from the artistic perspective demonstrated that brutal and abusive visuals can potentially impact viewers psychology and motivate the viewer to behave similarly. Fashion, as one of the main opinion forming pillars of our society, can improve our knowledge about the important economic, political, cultural problems as well as have an impact on social changes. Therefore, the chosen subject for the comparative analysis is profiles of the most succesful fashion magazines on content creation platform Instagram. The percentages of victimization of popular magazines relative to alternative fashion magazines will be analysed. The main characteristics of the abuse victim image and visual expression within the noted context will be evaluated. The creative section of this thesis will connect the analysed image of the abuse victim as well as how their emotional experiences are represented. A representative image of abuse victim will be created within the parameters of democracy using visual expression through fashion photoshoot.
