Santrauka:
Description:
Donatas Mockevičius (dental technology program) conducted the work of the Bachelor's thesis "Dental restorations using zirconium oxide and metal ceramics comparative analysis". Work guide lecturer Audrius Kavaliauskas, Kaunas College, Faculty of medicine, Department of Oral health, Kaunas, 2018. In this work are described full anatomical monolithic zirconium oxide and metal ceramic dental restorations producing techniques, their advantages and disadvantages, characteristics of the materials used, and requirements. Comparison and analysis of different materials and techniques of dental restorations, prosthesis will be accepted by the optimised method. The aim of the work: to reveal advantages and disadvantages of front teeth in the upper jaw monolithic zirconium oxide and metal ceramic restorations .Job tasks: 1. To describe advantages and disadvantages of zirconium oxide and metal ceramic dental restorations.2. To produce metal ceramic and monolithic zirconium oxide dental restorations and assess their features.Work object: Dental restorations using zirconium oxide and metal ceramics a comparative assessment. Working methods: 1.Scientific and professional literature, scientific research articles were used, in order to reveal advantages and disadvantages of metal ceramics and zirconium oxide dental restorations. 2.The production of metal ceramics and monolithic zirconium oxide dental restorations and comparison of dental restoration techniques. Conclusions: 1. On the basis of an analysis of the scientific literature suggests that the monolithic zirconium oxide is harder and firmer than zirconium oxide ceramics and metal ceramics, but the result of extra hardness is wearing out dental antagonists. Zirconium oxide ceramics are characterized by an extremely high level of aesthetics, looks like natural teeth and allows to restore dental aesthetic image, but based on the research, there is a high risk of cleaving. Metal ceramics has a similar strength as natural teeth, on the basis of scientific research has a low cleaving risk. 2.After production of metal ceramic and monolithic zirconium oxide bridge dental restorations, comparative analysis of their stages of production and the aesthetics. it can be argued that the monolithic zirconium oxide dental restoration production is faster than metal ceramic dentures, and requires less work experience skills. Aesthetics of both dental restorations are similar.
