The choice of the theme of the final work was influenced by the fact that the proper product assortment formation, its management policy and market competitiveness are the most important tasks for the company in order to achieve a profitable operation of the company. Formation of the assortment is closely linked to the company's competitiveness, because only by offering the right assortment and forming a clear assortment policy, company can remain in a competitive environment. The main problem – the main problem of UAB AŠA is poor product range. The aim – to summarize theoretical and practical aspects of company‘s products assortment and to submit proposals for improving assortment range in UAB AŠA. Methods of work: analysis of scientific literature and other informacion sources analysis of questionair results, presentation of sugestions and recommendations. The paper consists of three parts. Theoretical part presents information about the product assortment concept, assortment policy and its determinants., the goals and directions of the assortment policy, characteristics and strategies of the assortment structure. The analytical part deals with the analysis of the company's situation and an empirical survey of consumer opinion. During the survey, the respondents attitude to the range of films assortment in UAB AŠA were evaluated. In the third part the recommendations for improvement of the range of films assortment in UAB AŠA and the preliminar financial evaluation of these offers are presented. The results – the respondents answers about the range of UAB AŠA films assortment, their disadvantages and advantages were evaluated. The respondents suggestions for improvement of UAB AŠA products assortment were analyzed. According to the research, respondents from different social status assessed the structure of the assortment in the different ways Short suggestions: the company could take into account the results of the research and segment the market according to the psychological characteristics of the market. dc.description.abstract Teorinė dalis. Šioje teorinės medžiagos dalyje, pateikiama informacija apie prekių asortimento sampratą bei asortimento politiką ir ją lemiančius veiksnius. Taip pat asortimento politikos tikslus ir kryptis. Aptariamos asortimento struktūros charakteristikos bei strategijos. Analitinė dalis. Šioje darbo dalyje atliekama įmonės situacijos analizė ir empirinis vartotojų nuomonės tyrimas. Apklausos metu buvo įvertinas respondentų požiūris į UAB „Aša“ plėvelių asortimentą. Trečioje darbo dalyje pateikiamos rekomendacijos UAB „Aša“ plėvelių asortimento tobulinimui ir preliminarus šių siūlymų finansinis pagrindimas. en_US
