dc.description	Juozas Orentas (dental technology study programme) has completed thesis work on “Irremovable screwed-in dental prosthesis fixed with all-on-four implants”. Work supervisor lect. Diana Skaudickienė. Kauno Kolegija / University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Oral Health. Kaunas, 2018. Loss of teeth is a particularly unpleasant experience. It may result to many personal problems, starting with disturbance of chewing function and health problems and ending with a loss of aesthetics and confidence. A person also begins to feel inferior in social life. Particularly common problem is a loss of all teeth. This defect can be reconstructed by applying two different methods of prosthetic implants: removable dentures and irremovable fixed implants. Removable dentures are not always the best solution for the patient in respect of their age and jaw alveolar bone. Therefore, the following work objective was chosen: to reveal manufacturing aspects of irremovable screwed-in dental prosthesis fixed with all-on-four implants. To achieve this objective, the following tasks have been raised: to describe characteristics and the main aspects of production of irremovable screwed-in dental prosthesis as well as to produce prosthesis fixed with all-on-four implants, restoring the chewing function and aesthetics. After analysing scientific literature, it can be concluded that after a loss of all teeth chewing function, aesthetics and sense of comfort can be restored due to rising popularity of implantation using irremovable screwed-in dental prosthesis fixed with all-on-four implants. Customized upper jaw twelve tooth prosthesis mounted on all-on-four implants was manufactured by carefully and responsibly following all stages of production and recommendations from doctorodontologist and desires of a patient.	en
dc.description.abstract	Dažna problema- visų dantų netekimas. Šį defektą galima atkurti dviem protezavimo būdais: išimamaisiais dantų protezais ir neišimamaisiais, fiksuotais ant implantų. Išimami protezai ne visada geriausias sprendimas paciento amžiaus bei žandikaulio alveolinio kaulo atžvilgiu. Dėl to buvo pasirinktas darbo tikslas - atskleisti neišimamojo-prisukamo dantų protezo, fiksuoto ant keturių implantų (all- on- four), gamybos aspektus. Šiam tikslui pasiekti buvo iškelti uždaviniai: aprašyti neišimamojo- prisukamo dantų protezo charakteristikas ir pagrindinius gamybos aspektus bei pagaminti prisukamą protezą, fiksuojamą ant keturių implantų, atkuriant kramtymo funkciją ir estetiką.	en_US
