Description:
Matas Kaltauskas (dental technology study programme) submitted the final thesis „Dental restoration using e.max lithium disilicate crowns and individual BioHPP implantsupported bridges”. Supervisor lecturer Margarita Daublytė; Kauno kolegija, Faculty of Medicine; Oral Health Department.
This final thesis is about e.max lithium disilicate and BioHPP PEEK compatibility, aesthetics, functionality, the properties of material, it’s advantages and disadvantages nowadays. Dental prosthesis starting with the patient's wishes to the final result implementing them.
The purpose of a thesis – to expose the making technique of LiSi e.max crowns and LiSi crowns on individual BioHPP supports by repairing teeth. Problem: what kind of making technique is used to make LiSi e.max crowns and LiSi crowns on individual BioHPP supports? Work tasks: 1. To describe the properties of lithium disilicate e.max crowns and individual BioHPP supports. 2. To make lithium disilicate e.max crowns with individual BioHPP support system.
Work methods: 1. Description of scientific and professional literature on the potential production of lithium disilicate (e.max) and BioHPP (peek). 2. Clinical case: production of dental prosthetics.
In the practical part the production stages of the lower jaw lithium disilicate e.max crowns and individual BioHPP supports are presented. In a thesis there is described the clinical case and the making technique of lithium disilicate e.max and individual supports.
