Human resources are the unique resources of an enterprise that give an advantage in a major competitive struggle between companies. In order to provide organizations with even better services or product development, they have to hire and retain skilled workers, professionals, although their change is an inevitable phenomenon in any organization.
The main problem (professional BA thesis). Employee turnover from the company requires additional financial costs. Upon leaving a worker, a higher burden is born by the remaining employees, reducing the productivity of older workers, as additional workers are required. When new employees are hired, the funds used by the company are spent for the administration of the recruitment process (signing of a contract of employment, etc.). "Studies have shown that a new employee starts to work productively only after 13.6 weeks and only 53 per. in training of total working time is able to work independently" (Žiogelytė, Ksivickaitė, 2014). In order to keep existing employees, you need to listen to their needs, expectations and remarks, and thus not miss the moment when the employee chooses to leave the company. Therefore, it is very important to find out the causes of staff change and discover ways to reduce it.
The aim (professional BA thesis) – to identify the reasons causing changes in employees, to make recommendations for the reduction of employee turnover in UAB Beta.
Objectives of the (professional BA thesis):
1. Describe the reasons for employee turnover in theory.
2. Identify the reasons for the turnover of employees in UAB Beta.
3. To distinguish the possibilities of reduction of employees in UAB Beta.
Methods of the (professional BA thesis) – analysis, systematization and synthesis of scientific literature; questionnaire survey, evaluation of data received.
The structure: the theoretical part describes the importance of human resources in a modern enterprise, the importance of personnel management, and the reasons for employee change. Described are measures to reduce personnel turnover. The analytical part presents the results of the research carried out, which reveals the main reasons for the turnover in UAB Beta. After analyzing the results of the questionnaire survey, it was determined that the main reasons for the employee turnover of UAB Beta, are unsatisfied with salary and the psychological microclimate in the company. In the project part it is offered first to stabilize the turnover of employees of UAB Beta and then apply measures to reduce it.
The work consists of 46 pages, 7 tables, 18 pictures, 31 references and sources of information.
