Šiuolaikiniame pasaulyje vyksta daug įvairių permainų, taip pat permainos nepaliko šone ir įkalinimo įstaigų. Lietuvoje lygtinio paleidimo iš įkalinimo įstaigų sistema radikaliai pasikeitė 2003 m., įsigaliojus Lietuvos Respublikos bausmių vykdymo kodeksui, ir 2012 m. įsigaliojus naujai „Lygtinis paleidimas iš pataisos įstaigų“ straipsnių redakcijai, pakeitimams padėjo ir LR probacijos įstatymo priėmimas. Asmenys, paleisti iš laisvės atėmimo vietų, sudaro nemažą specifinę asmenų grupę, kuriai reikia kompleksinės socialinės paramos. Socialinė kompleksinė parama apima būtiniausių gyvenimo sąlygų sudarymą asmenims, praradusiems socialinius ryšius, profesinius ir darbo įgūdžius, turintiems psichologinių adaptavimosi visuomenėje sunkumų. Dėl šios problemos lygtinio paleidimo nuteistiesiems reikia saugios socialinės aplinkos ir socialinio darbuotojo pagalbos. Tokia aplinka yra reabilitacijos centrai, kuriuose socialiniai darbuotojai nukreipia savo dėmesį į nuteistiesiems reikalingas sąlygas grįžti į visuomenę.

Relevance of work. A lot of different changes take place in the modern world, as well as changes have not been left on the side and in prisons. In Lithuania the parole from the prison system has changed radically in 2003 the Republic of Lithuania, the entry into force of the code of execution of penalties, and the entry into force in the year 2012, the new "Conditional release from correctional institutions" articles to the editor, as well as the amendments to the law of the Republic of Lithuania has helped and probation. Persons released from custody comprise a significant number of specific groups of people who need integrated social support. Social complex support includes the provision of basic living conditions for people who have lost social contact, professional and work skills, and have difficulties in psychologically adapting society. Due to the probation of this problem, the convicts need a safe social environment and a social worker. Such an environment is a rehabilitation center in which social workers focus their attention on the conditions for returning to society.
Aim of the study- to establish the activities of a social worker with probationers in the rehabilitation center
Objectives:
1. To define the characteristics of the probationers
2. To describe the concept of rehab centers
3. To reveal the activities of a social worker with probationers in the rehabilitation center.
Practical significance of work: Social worker's activities, with probationers, at the rehabilitation center.
Methods. Semi-structured interview. The research method is qualitative. The study was carried out in Kedainiai district. and Kauno raj. rehabilitation centers. May 2018 Number of people surveyed 5 social workers working in rehabilitation centers.
Conclusions. Data from the obtained empirical research show that the most needed are cooperation, counseling and mediation, life skills development services provided by social workers at the rehabilitation center with probationers. In most cases, social workers for the release of probationers provided document management, escort services, cooperation with law enforcement agencies, mediation and counseling services.
