Santrauka:
Description:
Strengthening the family by assigning it to the most important part of society, which, among other important functions, performs a natural psychotherapeutic function for all its members, creates a safe space for personality maturation and dissemination, it should not be forgotten. The latter is no longer a healthy particle of society, but sick, threatening to destroy itself if the cycle of violence is not interrupted by external intervention. This is a family where violence and coercion thrive, Vasiliauskaite (2017). Further emphasizing Vasiliauskaite‘s (2017), in such a family, the needs of all family members are subordinated to one person, i. i.e., to satisfy the perpetrator’s distorted need for power and control. A number of international governmental and non-governmental organizations are involved in regulating and controlling protection against this type of violence. Therefore, regulating protection against domestic violence is important and necessary at both regional and global levels.
