Santrauka:
Description:
Increasing resistance of bacteria to antibiotics is one of the biggest problems in medicine. Bacterial resistance poses a threat to the absence of effective antibiotics in the future, which promotes the search for new antimicrobial plants or others materials that could be used for therapeutic purposes (ULAC, 2016). Aim of the research: To determine the antimicrobial activity of hemp, moringa and spirulina leafs Objectives of the research: 1. To discuss the scientific and subject-related literature information on the active substances and antimicrobial effect of hemp, moringa and spirulina. 2. To evaluate antimicrobial action of hemp, moringa and spirulina leafs by extraction time. 3. To evaluate antimicrobial action of hemp, moringa and spirulina leafs by extract concentration. Methodology of the research: Analysis of the scientific literature information about the active substances and antimicrobial action of Cannabis sativa L., Moringa oleifera ir Spirulina platesnis plants materials was performed. A microbiological investigation of of hemp, moringa and spirulina leaf bydiffusion method of assay wells to a rigid nutrient medium agar was carried out. It was determined whether plants extraction of different concentrations and time could affect the growth and multiplying of the reference bacterial cultures, by measuring a diameter of the inhibitory zone in millimeters. The analyzed findings of the antimicrobial investigations of Cannabis sativa L., Moringa oleifera ir Spirulina platensis plant raw materials provided in the scientific literature have been compared with the microbiological study conducted in the bachelor thesis. The research findings and conclusion: Cannabis sativa L., Moringa oleifera and Spirulina platensis, phenolic compounds have a pharmacological effect. The maximum amount of phenolic compounds responsible for antimicrobial activity shall be released within a period of five and sixty minutes. Cannabis sativa L. and Spirulina platensis .were having antimivrobial activity agains four standard microorganisms cultures. In concentration, 10 g of Moringa oleifera and Cannabis sativa L. and 5 g of Spirulina platensis extracts were found to have the highest antimicrobial activity.
