Gabenant gyvūninės ir ne gyvūninės kilmės maisto produktus iš trečiųjų šalių per Lietuvos Respublikos teritoriją, vežėjai susiduria su ilgais procesiniais formalumais, kertant pasienio ruožą, dėl kurių jie patiria didelius nuostolius. Šiuo darbu siekiama optimizuoti gabenimo tranzitu procesą, taip sumažinant vežėjų patiriamus nuostolius.

The final thesis deals with the imperfection of procedures for the transit of foodstuffs of animal and non-animal origin through the border of the Republic of Lithuania. The aim of this theme is to minimize the time of transportation and the costs consumed. This topic is relevant to many companies transporting food of animal and non-animal origin through the Lithuanian border from third countries, because of the system's imperfection, huge losses are occurring daily. This work seeks to clarify the main problems that determine the losses incurred by entrepreneurs. The paper reviews the work of the responsible institutions, documents regulating their work and inspection procedures. The information obtained is analyzed and systematized.
Problem of work: procedural defects of transit of foodstuffs of animal and non-animal origin through the border of the Republic of Lithuania. What needs to be done to optimize these transit procedures?
The aim of the work: to analyze the collected information and to provide reasoned solutions to the problem.
Working methods: the information is collected in the scientific literature and other sources of information, the legal acts, laws and regulations are examined. The statistics are collected and analyzed. Creating an online questionnaire, submitting to respondents, summarizing the results, systematization. Communication and collaboration with the company's supervisor in the investigation.
Structure of the work: The theoretical part analyzes the logistics concept, compares the logistics definitions of different authors. provides statistical data on the situation prevailing in the country for the transport of food of animal and non-animal origin from third countries. Discussing the work of the institutions i.e. Customs, Border Inspection Posts, the Border Guard Veterinary Service are also provided with the laws governing their activities. The documents in question are needed for transportation, cargo inspections. The analytical part discusses the company under consideration, raises the problem of work, it also analyzes the reasoned solutions of the problem. The data are systematized and analyzed. Results of work. A survey was conducted during the work. information gathered during the questionnaires are provided at work. The problem has also been analyzed in various ways, and three possible ways to solve the problem have been achieved.
Brief suggestions / recommendations for solving the issues to be solved. First of all, update certain laws in a new wording, transferring part of the procedures to the limits of the customs clearance warehouse. Secondly, by legalizing the shipment's guarantor, which ensures that the goods being transported are not destined for the Lithuanian market, it would be possible to refuse certain checks at the border post. Third, to upgrade the pre-booking system, as it is possible to judge from the provided survey data that it does not ensure a faster crossing of the border.
