Temos aktualumas.
Description:
The Revelance of the research: How and what children grow up depends on many things, but some of the main ones are the social environment and the family in which they grow up. However, as we already know, not in all families children feel safe and understood, often their families have problems, they face social risks, which often causes children to face various difficulties. Social workers in day centers try to ensure that the services and the activities they recommend contributed to an all-round perfection of a personality, satisfied the needs of a child and his/her family members, helped to train social and life skills. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of social services provided by children's day care centers and the activities of social workers, it is very important to define and clarify the main activities they carry out in this field, especially since there is not much research on this topic in recent years and financing to children day centers is increasing. According to the data of the Ministry of Social Security and Labor of the Republic of Lithuania (2020), in 2017 to children's day care centers were allocated 3.6million EUR, in 2018 - 3.9 million EUR, in 2019 - 5.2 million EUR.
