The main goal of this project is to plan and install computer network in a hospital. First of all, internet speed requirements were set. According to the user group and priority, three internet speed options were offered and the optimum option was chosen. This decision has influenced what equipment we will need to complete this project. The requirements and solutions offered for computer network equipment were set. Server equipment was chosen according to the amount of users, speed and security requirements. The building‘s drawings were analyzed and a wireless plan was drawn up that simulates wireless communication in the building. According to this plan, the wireless stations were set according to the obstacles, density of the consumers and workplaces. Wiring and installation of ladders and trays was planned. In the hospital, network security is important, because patient data is stored, so potential threats at all levels of OSI have been explored and solutions have been proposed to protect them. A hardware specification has been developed where the necessary equipment was defined. The work in the hospital must be uninterrupted, so the options for ensuring network performance have been examined and the options have been chosen.
