Baigiamajame bakalauro darbe buvo paaiškinta polifarmacijos sąvoka, jos atsiradimo priežastys, sprendimo galimybės visuomenės vaistinėje.
Atskleistos farmacijos specialistų patirtys išduodant 2 ir daugiau vaistų vyresnio amžiaus gyventojams. Išanalizavus mokslinę literatūrą bei atlikus kokybinį tyrimą buvo pateiktos išvados. Darbą sudaro įvadas, trys skyriai, išvados, literatūros sąrašas, priedai. Darbo apimtis – 36 psl.

The aim: Analysing specialists of pharmacy experiences providing two or more drugs for older people. Research tasks:
1. Describing peculiarities of prescriptions of drugs for older people.
2. Theoretically justifying the polypharmacy, it is causes, consequences, and solutions opportunities in local pharmacies.
3. Identify the experience of pharmaceutical specialists.
Metodics: in the research participated specialists of Eurovaistinė: 1 pharmacist and 2 pharmotechnics. Interview and the observations have been applied. Observation was made by „Geros vaistinės praktika“ 1st paragraph „Farmacinė paslauga“. Interview was made in questionnaire, questions were only known by the researcher. Questions were made by „Geros vaistinės praktika“ 1st paragraph „Farmacinė paslauga“. Results: Taking order by GVP VI point “Farmacinė paslauga” and comparing data from the research it can be claimed that specialists of pharmacy are using GFP orders giving quality services of pharmacy when prescribing two or more drugs for older people.Conclusion: 1. When prescribing drugs for older people pharmacists needs to take into account to give the information loudly, clearly, repeat it if needed or write it down. When prescribing drugs it is necessary to inform about drugs functions, indications, contraindications and interactions with other drugs. By the research {24} it is known that older people don’t understand the safest way for using drugs. 2. Polipharmacy is the occurrence of using two or more drugs. Its’ origin is self-medication, interactions, lack of information, old society, several diseases treated in the same time, self-medication by non-prescribed drugs. Consequences of polypharmacy are older people hospitalisation, using additional drugs or death. Ways of solutions in the local pharmacies are comprehensive consultation knowledge of the pharmacist and quality data of the patient. 3. Pharmacy specialist when prescribing two or more drugs for older people checks the prescriptions, evaluates the possible interactions of drugs and contraindications, gives information about drug, selects safe drug alongside the other already used drugs, questions the patient. Invoking the GVP IV „Farmacinė paslauga“ and comparing the data collected in the research it is possible to claim that pharmacy specialists are guided by the GVP orders and gives quality services of pharmacy when prescribing two or more drugs for older people.
