Literatūriškai yra aprašoma akušerės profesinė kompetencija, akušerės teikiamos sveikatos priežiūros paslaugos ir jų kokybės užtikrinimas bei veiksniai, kurie lemia gimdyvių pasitenkinimą akušerės teikiamomis paslaugomis gimdymo skyriuje. Tyrimo metu yra nustatomas gimdyvių pasitenkinimas akušerių suteikta informacija gimdymo metu. Nustatomas gimdyvių pasitenkinimas akušerių atliktos procedūrų eigos organizavimu gimdymo metu. Nustatomas gimdyvių pasitenkinimas akušerių bendravimu bei psichoemociniu palaikymu gimdymo metu.

Relevance of the work is based on the fact that there are very few works in Lithuania that deal with patient satisfaction on medical services. 2013 At the initiative of the Vilnius Health Economy Center, an evaluation of the social-economic consequences of health financing and restructuring of health care services was carried out. It also assessed the availability of health care services and the satisfaction of the population with the services provided. This study identified the opinions of pregnant women and women who gave birth. It has been noticed that there is a prevalence of dissatisfaction with staffing in labor, the organization of midwives and other health care professionals involved in the process of delivery and the lack of information during childbirth. Aim: to determine maternal satisfaction with midwifery services provided by the midwife. Tasks: 1. To describe factors influencing maternal satisfaction with the services provided by midwives during childbirth; 2. To determine maternal satisfaction with information provided by midwives during childbirth; 3. To determine maternal satisfaction with midwifery communication and psycho-emotional support during childbirth; 4. To determine maternal satisfaction with the organization of the procedures performed by midwives during childbirth. Methodology of Empirical Research: quantitative research method, during which data was collected by using the electronic MyApps.lt space to submit the questionnaire. The questionnaire was placed on the Facebook social network and on its platforms: forums and groups and web portals. The survey was conducted from 29 October 2018 to 2018-11-30. 312 respondents participated in the survey, 350 respondents were planned to be interviewed. 38 questionnaires were rejected as incorrectly filled. Response rate 89,1%. Results and conclusions: 1. After evaluating the results of the study, it was found that the majority of the respondents during the childbirth were clearly explained about the procedures which were performed and details was given about the course of labor and the condition of the fetus. 2. Most of the respondents did not received psycho-emotional support from the midwife during childbirth, however, the majority of respondents are satisfied with communication with midwives. 3. The majority of respondents are satisfied with the organization of the procedures performed by midwives during childbirth, as midwives provided them with assistance and knew how to deal with stressful situations.
