In this paper, company UAB "TNT" and the express parcel service are examined, also possibilities and perspectives for improvement are considered. During the survey, customers, employees were surveyed, ground handling parcel transportation processes were monitored inside the company. Suggestions are made on how to improve the company's express delivery processes. Express delivery is especially important for businesses around the world, as it allows you to optimize customer service and transaction costs. The main problem of the (professional BA thesis) - The TNT company must follow a strict timetable. The main goal of the company is that the courier will collect the parcels for as long as possible in order to increase company‘s income and satisfy customers' needs. How to reduce the time spent on ground handling processes, to meet a larger number of customer needs? The aim of the (professional BA thesis) - After analyzing the processes of transportation of parcels from UAB "TNT" Kaunas office from the pick up to the departure of the airplane from the airport, to identify the biggest causes of unnecessary time costs incurred and to propose a solution to reduce them and justify them. Objectives of the (professional BA thesis): 1. After theoretical analysis, compare the authors‘ different research-based opinions to the organization of cargo transportation by aircraft. 2. After the analyzing the company's internal processes, identify the problem areas in the parcels‘ export processes. 3. By suggesting prospects for improvement of problem areas, justify their importance for the company. Methods of the (professional BA thesis) - The use of scientific literature analysis, SWOT analysis, statistical analysis, questionnaire survey, observation. The structure - The theoretical part deals with different authors, research-based opinions on the organization of cargo transportation by air, and the delivery of express shipments. In the analytical part of the work, the processes of the company, their characteristics, the results of external and internal research carried out in the company, the analysis of monitoring indicators, and the causes of the problem area are distinguished. In the project part, methods of optimization of ground handling transportation processes are presented, their justification, the necessary resources are presented. Results of work. Having examined the client's perspective, it is revealed that the most important criteria for them is the delivery of the next day, the price and the reliability of the carrier. For workers the most complex operations are aviation safety inspection and weighing process. The main reason is weak technological equipment parameters. Suggestions. By changing the weighing device, the company would significantly increase the bandwidth of the consignments. This would help in the long term. The addition of a second parcel line in which weighing of parcels and the appearance of a conveyor would improve the bandwidth of consignments. This would help the company in the short term. The work consists of 56 pages, 3 tables, 26 pictures, 30 references and sources of information, 3 appendices.	en
dc.description.abstract	Baigiamojo darbo teorinėje dalyje aptariama skirtingų autorių, tyrimais pagrįstos nuomonės į krovinio gabenimo organizavimą oro transportu, skubių siuntų pristatymą. Analitinėje darbo dalyje pristatomi įmonėje veikiantys procesai, jų charakteristikos, atliktų išorinio bei vidinio tyrimų rezultatai įmonėje, stebėjimo rodiklių analizė, išskiriamos probleminės srities priežastys. Projektinėje dalyje siūlomi antžeminių siuntos gabenimo procesų optimizavimo būdai, pateikiamas jų pagrindimas, reikalingi ištekliai.	en_US
