dc.description	In modern society, ASD is increasingly being diagnosed in children worldwide; however, by analysing the statistics of Lithuania, it is clear that the prevalence of this disorder is significant and is expected to increase in the future. Therefore, these children need social workers to provide them and their families with the necessary support to overcome difficulties, develop the child's social and household skills, give the required mediation services, provide appropriate conditions for development and education and inform their parents about the services needed to help the child with autism to become a full member of society. Ensuring that all these necessary services are provided to children with ASD will allow them to take care of themselves; they will also have developed social skills that will help them adapt to various situations. Many NGOs work on programs that show interest in the organisation’s goals. Therefore, some organisations work with different approaches while collaborating with professionals from various fields. . The majority of NGOs that work with children do not have a social worker working in their organisation; that is why they cannot assess the social worker's ability to educate the child as they provide all services to children themselves. . The social worker uses various methods to integrate the child into society faster; the child and their family are provided with social services that facilitate their quality of life and offer the opportunity to mediate with the social worker.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Šiuolaikinėje visuomenėje vis daugiau diagnozuojamas autizmo spektro sutrikimas, kuris diagnozuojamas vaikams visame pasaulyje, tačiau stebint statistinius duomenis Lietuvoje, aiškiai matyti, kad šio sutrikimo plitimas yra žymus ir manoma, kad šio sutrikimo plitimas vis didės ir ateityje, todėl tokiems vaikams reikalingi socialiniai darbuotojai, kad vaikams ir jų šeimos nariams suteikti reikiamą pagalbą įveikti kylančius sunkumus, ugdyti vaiko socialinius, buitinius įgūdžius, suteikti reikalingą tarpininkavimo paslaugą, suteikti tinkamas sąlygas tobulėti ir ugdytis, informuoti tėvus apie reikalingas vaikui paslaugas, kurios padėtų autizmo sutrikimą turinčiam vaikui lengviau integruotis į visuomenę ir tapti pilnaverčiu visuomenės nariu. Suteikus visas reikalingas paslaugas, autizmo spektro sutrikimą turintis vaikas gebės pasirūpinti savimi, turės išugdytus socialinius įgūdžius, gebės prisitaikyti prie kylančių įvairių situacijų. Nevyriausybinėse organizacijose, kurios dirba su vaikais, turinčiais autizmo spektro sutrikimą, didžioji dalis neturi organizacijoje dirbančio socialinio darbuotojo, todėl teikdamos skirtingas paslaugas vaikams, neįvertina socialinio darbuotojo galimybių lavinti ir ugdyti vaiką	en_US
