dc.description	Relevance of the topic: 2020 the sudden and very rapid spread of Covid-19 infection around the world, which has caused a lot of panic among people, especially those who are working with patients that have Covid infection( Usher et al., 2020). A study conducted by Vilnius University Psychotraumatology Center researchers in the spring of 2020 showed that the majority of ICU staff experience anxiety and moderate stress and depressive symptoms due to the spread of the Covid-19 virus (Norkienė et al., 2020) In health care facilities, nurses spend most of their time with patients, and their lack can disrupt proper patient care. Lack of staff during the Covid-19 pandemic are due to the spread of the infection among healthcare professionals (Aizenas, 2020). In response to the declared pandemic, many medical schools around the world have begun to form volunteer unions, inviting students to join health facilities to help address the shortage of medical staff (Domaradzki et al., 2021). A study in Poland has shown that, although medical students are not staff, they make a significant contribution to healthcare facilities during the extremely difficult situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. It was found that people studying medicine contributed a large workforce to volunteering in various health care units during the pandemic (Bazan et al.,2021). Problem of the research: What are the activities of volunteers in health care facilities from the point of view of nurses and students? Object of the research: Attitudes of students and nurses towards volunteering in a health care facilities. Aim of the research: Identify volunteering in health care facilities from the perspective of nurses and students. Objectives of the research: 1. Describe the concept of volunteering. 2. To reveal the significance of volunteering in health care facilities. 3. Identify volunteering in health care facilities from a student perspective. 4. Identify volunteering in health care facilities from the perspective of nurses. Methodology and subjects of the research. Methods of the research: Analisis of scientific literature; Structured questionnaire online; Statistical data analysis (pct.). Subjects: The study involved 112 nurses and 102 general practice nursing students. 9 The main results of the research. After doing research it was found, that nurses and students point of view about volunteering is the way to help for other people, also this activity can be leicure spending which provides bigest communication opportunities. General practice nursing students when volunteering acquire proper patient hygiene, feeding skills and expierence the organization of health care work. As a volunteer mentor, nurses gain knowledge transfer experience and improve their professional and communication skills.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Temos aktualumas: 2020 m. visame Pasaulyje netikėtai ir labai greitai išplito Covid-19 infekcija, kuri sukėlė didžiulę žmonių, o ypač medicinos darbuotojų, kurie dirba su šia liga susirgusiais pacientais, paniką (Usher ir kt., 2020). Vilniaus universiteto Psichotraumatologijos centro mokslininkų 2020 m. pavasarį atliktame tyrime nustatyta, kad didžioji dalis intensyvios terapijos skyrių darbuotojų dėl Covid-19 viruso plitimo patiria nerimą ir vidutinį stresą bei depresijos simptomų (Norkienė ir kt., 2020). Sveikatos priežiūros įstaigose slaugytojai daugiausiai laiko praleidžia prie pacientų, jų trūkumas gali sutrikdyti tinkamą pacientų priežiūrą. Personalo trūkumas Covid-19 pandemijos metu atsiranda dėl infekcijos plitimo tarp sveikatos priežiūros specialistų (Aizenas, 2020). Reaguodamos į paskelbtą pandemiją daugelis medicinos srities mokymo įstaigų visame Pasaulyje pradėjo steigti savanoriškos veiklos sąjungas, kviesdamos prisijungti prie sveikatos priežiūros įstaigų veiklos studentus, kurie padėtų išspręsti medicinos darbuotojų trūkumo problemą (Domaradzki ir kt., 2021). Lenkijoje atliktas tyrimas parodė, kad, nors medicinos studentai ir nėra darbuotojai, tačiau jie ženkliai padeda sveikatos priežiūros įstaigoms nepaprastai sunkios Covid-19 pandemijos sukeltos situacijos metu. Nustatyta, kad mediciną studijuojantys asmenys, vykdydami savanorišką veiklą pandemijos metu įvairiuose sveikatos priežiūros skyriuose prisidėjo didele darbo jėga (Bazan ir kt., 2021). Tyrimo problema: Kokia savanorių veikla sveikatos priežiūros įstaigose slaugytojų ir studentų požiūriu? Tyrimo objektas: Savanoriška veikla sveikatos priežiūros įstaigose slaugytojų ir studentų požiūriu. Tyrimo tikslas: Nustatyti savanorišką veiklą sveikatos priežiūros įstaigose slaugytojų ir studentų požiūriu. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Apibūdinti savanoriškos veiklos sampratą. 2. Atskleisti savanoriškos veiklos reikšmę sveikatos priežiūros įstaigose. 3. Nustatyti savanorišką veiklą sveikatos priežiūros įstaigose studentų požiūriu. 4. Nustatyti savanorišką veiklą sveikatos priežiūros įstaigose slaugytojų požiūriu. Tyrimo metodika ir tiriamieji. Tyrimo metodai: Mokslinės literatūros analizė; Struktūrizuotas klausimynas raštu; Statistinė duomenų analizė (proc.). Tiriamieji: Tyrime dalyvavo 112 slaugytojai ir 102 Bendrosios praktikos slaugos studentai. Pagrindiniai empirinio tyrimo rezultatai: Tyrimo metu nustatyta, kad slaugytojų ir studentų požiūriu savanoriška veikla yra būdas padėti kitiems, taip pat naudingas laisvalaikio praleidimas bei veikla, kuri suteikia didesnes bendravimo galimybes. Bendrosios praktikos slaugos studentai savanoriaudami įgauna tinkamos paciento higienos, maitinimo ir girdymo įgūdžių bei pamato sveikatos priežiūros darbo organizavimą. Slaugytojai būdami savanorių mentoriumi įgauna žinių perdavimo patirtį, tobulina profesinius bei bendravimo įgūdžius.	en_US
