Relevance of the topic. To ensure quality of performance and individualized approach to customer’s needs, beauticians not only use cosmetics but also effective and skin-friendly technologies. One of these is the cold effects, which is widespread used in various areas of health due to efficacy and safety of procedures. Cold treatments are available popular in sports medicine, medicine and cosmetology. Use of cold in cosmetology procedures are very wide, as the cold effect reduces many facial and body skin problems. But this the application of the method is limited by a lack of information. There are many popular articles, but there is a lack of research data. Therefore, it was decided to ask cosmetologists what their opinion is about the cold effects use to solve skin problems. Investigation problem. What do cosmetologists think about using the cold effects on the skin to solve skin problems? Research object. Opinion of cosmetologists using the cold effects on the skin to solve skin problems. The aim of the research. To reveal the opinion of cosmetologists about the possibilities of using the cold effects to solve skin problems. The topic assignments: 1. To theoretically substantiate the cold effects on the skin and skin structures also the links between cold and skin problems. 2. To describe the possibilities of using technological and non-technological devices of cold exposure procedures in cosmetology. 3. To reveal opinion of cosmetologists about the use of cold procedures to solve skin problems. The main research methods and subjects. The theoretical part analyses the sources of scientific literature to describe the cold effects on the skin and the possibilities of use in cosmetology. For data collection of quantitative study was used a questionnaire. The study involved 70 in random order selected research cosmetologists. The research data are presented graphically and statistically. Results of empirical research. Analysis of the survey data revealed that the majority of respondents has relatively little professional experience in the field of cosmetology, but is familiar with the cold effect procedures, their results and performance. It also turned out that the effects of 8 technological cold procedures are not performed in practice by a larger proportion of cosmetologists due to lack of information and high equipment costs. Siekiant užtikrinti kokybišką veiklą ir individualizuotą požiūrį į klientų poreikius teikiant paslaugas, kosmetologai naudoja ne tik kosmetines priemones, bet ir ieško naujų, efektyvių bei odos netraumuojančių technologijų. Viena iš tokių yra šalčio poveikis, kuris plačiai naudojamas įvairiose sveikatinimo srityse dėl efektyvumo ir procedūrų saugumo. Šalčio procedūros yra populiarios sporto medicinoje, medicinoje bei kosmetologijoje. Šalčio panaudojimas kosmetologinėse procedūrose yra labai platus, nes šalčio efektas mažina daugelį veido ir kūno odos problemų. Tačiau šio metodo taikymą riboja informacijos stygius. Yra daug populiariųjų straipsnių, bet trūksta mokslinių tyrimų duomenų. Todėl nuspręsta apklausti kosmetologus, kokia yra jų nuomonė apie šalčio poveikio naudojimą odos problemoms spręsti. Tyrimo problema. Kokia kosmetologų nuomonė apie šalčio poveikio naudojimą odos problemoms spręsti? Tyrimo objektas. Kosmetologų nuomonė apie šalčio poveikio naudojimo galimybes odos problemoms spręsti. Tyrimo tikslas. Atskleisti kosmetologų nuomonę apie šalčio poveikio naudojimo galimybes odos problemoms spręsti. Uždaviniai: 1. Teoriškai pagrįsti šalčio poveikį odai ir jos struktūroms bei šalčio sąsajas su odos problemomis. 2. Aprašyti aparatinių ir neaparatinių šalčio poveikio procedūrų panaudojimo galimybes kosmetologijoje. 3. Atskleisti kosmetologų nuomonę apie šalčio poveikio procedūrų naudojimą odos problemoms spręsti. Tyrimo metodika ir tiriamieji. Teorinėje dalyje analizuojami mokslinės literatūros šaltiniai, siekiant aprašyti šalčio poveikį odai bei šalčio panaudojimo galimybes kosmetologijoje. Duomenų rinkimui buvo panaudotas kiekybinis tyrimas – anketinė apklausa. Tyrime dalyvavo 70 atsitiktine tvarka parinktų kosmetologų. Gauti duomenys pateikti grafiškai bei statistiškai. Empirinio tyrimo rezultatai. Apklausos duomenų analizė atskleidė, kad dauguma respondentų turi pakankamai nedidelę profesinę patirtį kosmetologijos srityje, tačiau yra susipažinę su šalčio poveikio procedūromis, jų poveikiu bei veikimo mechanizmu. Aparatinių 6 šalčio poveikio procedūrų neatlieka didesnė dalis kosmetologų dėl informacijos trūkumo ir didelės įrangos kainos.
