dc.description	Mentally disabledpeople are one of the most complicatedclients groups, since they usually are not able to take care of themselves, they needcare of close people or guardians. A social worker plays an essential role when working withmentally disabled people, which, as we see,has more and more importance in thelife of these people. This encouraged toanalyze activity experience of social workers, working with this clients group. Goal of a research –to revealactivity experience of social worker, providing socialservices to adult mentally disabled people. Object of a research - activity experience of social worker, providing social services to mentally disabled adult people. Data for a researchwasgathered by usinga qualitative research method, a structured interview was used, questions were prepared in advance.5 social workers, providing services for mentally disabled adult people, participated in a research. Research results revealed that, althoughclients groupis complicated, little problems occur when working with it, the only problem, named by social workers, i.e. clients aggressionstrokes. Research results revealed that there is more positive experience, such asclientsevaluation, sincerity, true emotions, feedback existence. After the research was made, it became clear thatin casementally disabled adult people aredivided into groupsaccording totype of disability and skills, the provided by social workers social services in social care institutionswould be moreeffective. During the research it was also revealed that there is a big need to get ‘respite‘service andworking skills development services. The research confirmed that social workermust have not onlyvarious knowledge while studying, but to have personal features, such as tolerance, empathy, respect to a personas well.	en
dc.description.abstract	Protinę negalią turintys žmonės yra viena iš sudėtingiausių klientų grupių, kadangi dažniausiai jie negali savimi pasirūpinti, jiems reikalinga artimųjų ar globėjų priežiūra. Svarbų vaidmenį dirbant su protine negalia turinčiais žmonėmis atlieka socialinis darbuotojas, kuris kaip matome vis didesnę svarbą užima šių žmonių gyvenime. Tai paskatino patyrinėti socialinių darbuotojų, dirbančių su šia klientų grupe veiklos patirtis.	en_US
