Description: The present paper is a theoretical and empirical study of the professional roles of the social worker working with people after their imprisonment. The theoreticalpart of the paperdescribes the psychosocial characteristics of the people after their imprisonment and professional roles applied by a social worker working with them. The empirical part of the paper describes a research that was carried out in order to indicate the main professional roles of the social worker while working with people after their imprisonment. In the final part, conclusions and recommendations are described. Objectives: Toindicatethe main professional roles of the social worker working with people after their imprisonment. Work tasks: 1. Describe the social worker professional roles while working with with people after their imprisonment. 2. Define persons released from prison psychosocial characteristic. 3. Identify social worker professional roles working with the people after their imprisonment. Methodology: the quantitative approach is used to analyzescientific literature, internet sources, and a legal base in order to indicate the input of the social worker in the integration process of the people after their imprisonment. Structure: The first part of the paper describes the main aspects of the theoretical analysis of the main professional roles of the social worker working with people after their imprisonment. In the second part of the paper, the psychosocial characteristics of the people after their imprisonment are described as well as a review of the legal base protecting the rights of the convicts is presented. In the final part of the paper, the quantitative analysis of 30 people after their imprisonment is described as well as conclusions and recommendations of the theoretical and empirical parts are presented. Results: Survey found most young people guilty of serious crimes. Young people are more vulnerable to psychologically. Public image of negative attitudes they identified as one of the biggest problems. Also examined the subject to professional roles while working working with people after their imprisonment is a provider of modifier, consultant, educator professional roles. dc.description.abstract	Šiame darbe yra pateikiamos teorinė ir praktinė dalys. Teorinėje dalyje aprašoma asmens išėjusio iš įkalinimo įstaigos psichosocialinė charakteristika, socialinio darbuotojo taikomi profesiniai vaidmenys dirbant su iš įkalinimo įstaigos išėjusiais amenimis. Atliktas tyrimas, kuriame siekiama ištirti, kokie socialinio darbuotojo profesiniai vaidmenys yra taikomi dirbant su asmenimis išėjusiais iš įkalinimo įstaigos. Taip pat pateikiamos teorinės ir empirinės dalies išvados bei rekomendacijos.	en_US
