dc.description	A child’s development at any age is crucial to investing in his or her future, well-being and success. A study by Meylia, Paramashanti and Hati (2020) indicates that the rapid development of technology and the popularity of interactive games around the world are leading to an increasing trend in children’s independence and fine motor skills. Due to the lack of variety of daily activities, children who do not yet attend school need help in developing both fine motor skills (Meylia, Paramashanti, Hati, 2020) and independence skills (Dehghal et al., 2017). According to this pre-school children's independence and fine motor skills and difficulties are a topical issue, the problematic question is - is there a need for occupational therapist services in pre-school institutions? Research object – the need for occupational therapist services in pre-school education institutions. The aim – expose the need for occupational therapist services in pre-school education institutions. Research tasks: 1. To expose the opinion of parents about the need for an occupational therapist in developing preschool children's independence and fine motor skills. 2. To expose the opinion of pedagogues about the need of an occupational therapist in developing pre-school age children's independence and fine motor skills. 3. To compare of the attitudes of parents and teachers regarding the need for occupational therapist services in pre-school education institutions. Research methods: quantitative studies, analysis of scientific literature, anonymous survey, calculations of descriptive statistics. Subjects: parents (guardians) of pre-school children and pre-school education teachers who agreed to participate in the study voluntarily. Research results: Parents and educators of pre-school children would like the services of an occupational therapist to be provided in a pre-school education institution. Parents of preschool children would like occupational therapy to be applied to the development of cognitive functions, independence and fine motor skills, while educators believe that the services of an occupational therapist would be the most appropriate for the training of fine motor skills, sensory skills and independence training.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Vaiko raida visais amžiaus tarpsniais yra labai svarbi investuojant į jo ateitį, gerovę ir sėkmę. Meylia, Paramashanti ir Hati (2020) atliktame tyrime nurodoma, kad visame pasaulyje dėl spartaus technologijų vystymosi ir interaktyvių žaidimų populiarėjimo yra stebima didėjanti vaikų savarankiškumo ir smulkiosios motorikos sunkumų tendencija. Dėl kasdienių veiklų įvairovės trūkumo dar mokyklos nelankantiems vaikams yra reikalinga pagalba lavinant tiek smulkiosios motorikos (Meylia, Paramashanti, Hati, 2020), tiek ir savarankiškumo įgūdžius (Dehghal ir kt., 2017). Atsižvelgiant į tai, kad priešmokyklinio amžiaus vaikų savarankiškumo ir smulkiosios motorikos įgūdžiai ir sunkumai yra aktuali tema, todėl keliamas probleminis klausimas – ar yra poreikis ergoterapeuto paslaugoms priešmokyklinio ugdymo įstaigose? Tyrimo objektas – ergoterapeuto paslaugų poreikis priešmokyklinio ugdymo įstaigose. Tyrimo tikslas – atskleisti ergoterapeuto paslaugų poreikį priešmokyklinio ugdymo įstaigose. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Atskleisti tėvų nuomonę apie ergoterapeuto poreikį lavinant priešmokyklinio amžiaus vaikų savarankiškumo ir smulkiosios motorikos įgūdžius. 2. Atskleisti pedagogų nuomonę apie ergoterapeuto poreikį lavinant priešmokyklinio amžiaus vaikų savarankiškumo ir smulkiosios motorikos įgūdžius. 3. Palyginti tėvų ir pedagogų požiūrį dėl ergoterapeuto paslaugų poreikio priešmokyklinio ugdymo įstaigose. Tyrimo metodai: kiekybinis tyrimas, mokslinės literatūros analizė, anoniminė apklausa, aprašomosios statistikos skaičiavimai. Tiriamieji: savanoriškai dalyvauti tyrime sutikę priešmokyklinio amžiaus vaikų tėvai (globėjai) bei priešmokyklinio ugdymo pedagogai. Tyrimo rezultatai: Tiek priešmokyklinio amžiaus vaikų tėvai, tiek ir pedagogai pageidauja ergoterapeuto paslaugų priešmokyklinio ugdymo įstaigoje. Tačiau tėvai norėtų, kad ergoterapija būtų taikoma ne tik savarankiškumo ir smulkiosios motorikos lavinimui, bet ir pažintinių funkcijų lavinimui, tuo tarpu pedagogų nuomone ergoterapeuto paslaugos būtų tikslingiausios smulkiosios motorikos, sensorikos lavinimui ir savarankiškumo mokymui.	en_US
