dc.description	The ddifficulties of social workers dealing with mentally disabled clients are a really complex problem. It requires taking into account not only organizational problems, but also the emotional maturity and competencies of social workers themselves in dealing with emerging difficulties. The most important task of a social worker is to build rapport with the person who is facing personal problems, to gain his or her trust and to help him or her discover his or her own strengths and the most appropriate solutions to the problem situation. It is a profession where every day we meet clients who are disadvantaged, and we are providing help, we are guides in the client's life path, solving his/her problems together. The social worker is by their side in success and in failure, although social workers often lack help themselves, as they face not only physical but also emotional fatigue, threat of violence, or even burnout syndrome.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Socialinių darbuotojų patiriami sunkumai dirbant su proto negalią turinčiais klientais išties sudėtinga problema. Ji reikalauja atsižvelgti ne tik į organizacines problemas, bet ir į pačių socialinių darbuotojų emocinę brandą ir kompetencijas sprendžiant iškilusius sunkumus. Socialinio darbuotojo svarbiausia užduotis yra atrasti santykį su žmogumi, susidūrusiu su asmeninėmis problemomis, įgauti jo pasitikėjimą ir padėti jam pačiam atrasti savo stiprybes ir tinkamiausius probleminės situacijos sprendimo būdus. Tai profesija kai kiekvieną dieną susitinkama su lemties nuskriaustais klientais, jiems teikiama pagalbą, būnama vedliu kliento gyvenimo kelyje, kartu sprendžiant jo problemas. Socialinis darbuotojas yra šalia sėkmės ir nesėkmės atvejais, nors neretai pačios pagalbos stinga ir patiems socialiniams darbuotojams, kurie susiduria su ne tik fiziniu, bet ir emociniu nuovargiu, smurto grėsme, ar net perdegimo sindromu.	en_US
