dc.description	Because of the growing rates of depression and antidepressant use both in Lithuania and in the world, this work aims to evaluate the use of antidepressants in the X chain pharmacy in Kaunas. The topic of the research: Analysis of patients taking antidepressants in the X chain pharmacy in Kaunas. Research tasks: 1. To describe the use of antidepressants and medication for depression. 2. To describe the concept, classification, mechanism of action and side effects of antidepressants. 3. To identify the most commonly and least commonly used antidepressants in the treatment of depression. 4. To identify possible associations between the groups of antidepressants administered and the age of the patients. Scientific publications, scientific literature, dissertations and scientific works were analyzed in this research. Scientific literature sources were analyzed in order to reveal and evaluate the pharmacotherapy of the rational use of antidepressants. A quantitative study with the instrument of anonymous questionnaire was performed. It was distributed at the X chain pharmacy in Kaunas. The study group consisted of patients taking antidepressants. The study involved 181 respondents. Prescription forms and electronic prescriptions were also analyzed. The final work consists: lists of tables and figures, summaries in Lithuanian and English, introduction, two main chapters, analysis of research methodology and results, list of conclusions and recommendations and references. An analysis of the literature presents the epidemiology of depression and its treatment options. The main properties of antidepressants, mechanism of action, side effects, possibilities of use and peculiarities of use are described. The empirical study reflects how patients visiting Kaunas X chain pharmacy use antidepressants, what side effects they experience and how they are resolved. The obtained results are presented in the figures and diagrams. Conclusions and the list of references are provided at the end of this work. Results: A total of 181 respondents participated in this study. More than half of the survey respondents were women (67%) and men - 33%. According to the survey, more than 40% of respondents belong to the 31-50 age group, only 35.40% of all respondents were in the 51-70 age group, and 16% were 21-30 years old. The lowest participation in the study was among persons aged 18-20 - 6.60%. 46.70% of respondents use antidepressants for depression and 36.30% for anxiety disorders. Respondents consume the most: sertraline (51%), escitalopram (35%) and mirtazapine 7 (28%). Participants complained headaches (21.90%), sexual dysfunction (19.66%), weight gain (18.66%), and sleep disorders (13.60%) as the main side effects of antidepressants.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Stebint depresijos susirgimų ir antidepresantų vartojimo didėjimo rodiklius tiek Lietuvoje, tiek pasaulyje, šiuo darbu bus siekiama įvertinti antidepresantų vartojimą Kaune, X tinklo vaistinėje. Darbo tema: Antidepresantų vartojimo analizė Kaune, X tinklo vaistinėje. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Aprašyti antidepresantų vartojimą bei depresijos medikamentinį gydymą. 2. Aprašyti antidepresantų sampratą, klasifikaciją, veikimo mechanizmą ir jų šalutinius poveikius. 3. Nustatyti dažniausiai ir rečiausiai vartojamus antidepresantus gydant depresiją. 4. Nustatyti galimas sąsajas tarp skiriamų antidepresantų grupių ir gyventojų amžiaus. Baigiamajame darbe buvo analizuojamos mokslinės publikacijos, mokslinė literatūra, disertacijos bei moksliniai darbai. Mokslinės literatūros šaltiniai analizuoti tam, jog galėčiau atskleisti ir įvertinti antidepresantų farmakoterapiją ir antidepresantų racionalų vartojimą. Atliktas kiekybinis tyrimas, kurio instrumentas – anoniminė anketa. Ji buvo dalinama X tinklo vaistinėje Kaune. Tiriamųjų grupę sudarė antidepresantus vartojantys asmenys. Tyrime dalyvavo 181 respondentas. Taip pat buvo analizuojami receptų blankai ir elektroniniai receptai. Baigiamąjį darbą sudaro: lentelių ir paveikslų sąrašai, santraukos lietuvių ir anglų kalbomis, įvadas, du skyriai, tyrimo metodikos ir rezultatų analizė, išvados, rekomendacijos bei literatūros sąrašas. Literatūros analizėje pateikiama depresijos epidemiologija ir jos gydymo galimybės. Aprašomos pagrindinės antidepresantų savybės, veikimo mechanizmas, šalutinis poveikis, panaudojimo galimybės bei vartojimas. Empirinio tyrimo metu atsispindi, kaip Kauno X tinklo vaistinėje besilankantys pacientai vartoja antidepresantus, kokius šalutinius poveikius patiria ir kaip juos išsprendžia. Gauti rezultatai pateikiami paveiksluose bei diagramose. Pabaigoje pateikiamos išvados, rekomendacijos ir literatūros sąrašas. Rezultatai: Iš viso tyrime dalyvavo 181 respondentų. Daugiau nei pusė tyrimo respondentų sudarė moterys (67%), o vyrai - 33%. Remiantis tyrimu daugiau nei 40% respondentų priklauso 31-50 metų amžiaus grupei, 51-70 metų grupę sudarė tik 35,40% visų respondentų, o 16% sudarė 21-30 metų respondentai. Mažiausiai tyrime dalyvavo 18-20 metų asmenys - 6,60%. 46,70% respondentų antidepresantus vartoja dėl depresijos, o 36,30% dėl nerimo sutrikimų. Daugiausia respondentai suvartoja: sertralino (51%), escitalopramo (35%) bei (28%) mirtazapino. Respondentai labiausiai skundėsi galvos skausmu (21,90%), lytinės funkcijos sutrikimais (19,66%), svorio prieaugiu (18,66%) ir miego sutrikimais (13,60%).	en_US
