| dc.description | The theoretical part discusses the theoretical aspect of warehousing in logistics, warehousing processes and useful warehousing equipment and techniques. The analytical part provides information about the activities of UAB „Doldema” and the used warehouse equipment. The results of the study are also presented. The design part discusses the applicability of storage equipment for efficient transportation of goods in the warehouse from the second to the first floor. The main problem. In the logistics terminal of UAB „Doldema”, goods are transferred from the second floor to the first floor by employees, who are responsible for moving the goods by elevator and through the balcony. However, the number of goods removed in both ways is limited by the capacity of the elevator and the balcony. So, the problematic question arises - Which warehouse equipment solutions would help to move goods from the second floor to the first more efficiently? The aim of the professional BA thesis is – to evaluate the possibilities of application of UAB „Doldema" logistics terminal warehouse equipment solutions. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Teorinėje dalyje aptariama teoriniu aspektu sandėlių reikšmė logistikoje, sandėlyje vykstantys procesai bei naudojama sandėliavimo įranga ir technika. Analitinėje dalyje pateikiama informacija apie UAB „Doldema“ veiklą ir naudojamą sandėliavimo įrangą. Taip pat pateikiami atlikto tyrimo rezultatai. Projektinėje dalyje aptariama sandėliavimo įrangos pritaikomumas siekiant efektyvaus prekių transportavimo sandėlyje iš antro į pirmą aukštą. Darbo tikslas – įvertinti UAB „Doldema“ logistikos terminalo sandėliavimo įrangos sprendimų pritaikymo galimybes.
