dc.description	Graduation’s work aim – to create a layout and design for a children’s book “Joris miške” This is my first book that I created from start to beginning. I have put to this book alot of my love for nature, children and creation. In this book you can see my mirrored reflections of who I am truly. The world is like a miracle and it is alive. What before seemed dead, having inside a childlike curiosity and a pure heart when in silence you can hear how the surrounding of the world try to communicate with you. When listening to the swish of the world it will tell allot about itself. When I gathered all of the material and carried out a complete analogue analisis, I began to sketch and illustrate a few of a posible style variaties, and searched for application techniques of trees and the main character. I strived for a colorful, attractive and a standing out design. For such brightness that would make the children gather around it. I stopped on three techniques that I emerged into one. The main character and the stickers were created using vector graphics; the backrounds and trees were created using watercolor paint, furthermore they were scanned and then painted on top with watercolor brushes using Adobe Photoshop. The whole of these techniques have made the illustrations to look modern, but also we can feel a warm touch of a hand using watercolor brush strokes. This perfectly passes on the idea of the story: an old forest but it seems like it’s moving, pulsating, alive, catsed. The boy and the other objects are made specific and defined. The font that is chosen in the book si AvenirNextCyr. It is not too heavy for the composition and it does not take away the eyes from the illustartion, next it is easily read. The font in accordance with the children’s book recommendations is chosen to be 14 pt. size. When I concentrated all of my creative and aquired professional knowledge, I strived to create an original, expressive – almost life like – sesnsitive book design, keeping a continium and style. The measurments of the book is 220x220 mm. This project has given me alot of new knowledge and improoved my skills in layouts, illustartion, the maintaining of the emotion and mood troughout and conveying of the character.	en
dc.description.abstract	Baigiamojo darbo tema – Knygos vaikams dizainas „Joris miške“. Baigiamojo darbo aktualumas – Knygelė orientuota į vaikus kurie nori išmokti ir sužinoti apie mūsų šalyje augančius medžius. Ir ypač į emigrantų vaikus, tuos kurie nepaįsta mūsų krašto medžių. Daugelis vaikų nežino koks tai per medis augantis jo kieme. Pasauliui vystantis, jie vis labiau domisi kas yra užsienyje, bet ne pas mus, kompiuteriais, žaidimais ir pan. įdomiom iliustracijom su pritaikytais lipdukais bandyti pritraukti vaikus domėtis mūsų kraštu ir kas jų laukia kieme. Darbo tikslas – iliustruoti gamtinę/pažintinę pasakų knygą apie medžius. Įgyvendinant šį tikslą sieksiu, kad iliustracijos būtų žaismingos, linksmos, tam, kad vaikai giliau pažintų mišką ir žinotu jame augančius medžius ir jų etnologinę prasmę. Kuriant šią knygą buvo stengtasi kuo tiksliau perteikti esminius pasakos momentus, sukurti atitinkamą nuotaiką. Kad dar labiau sudominti skaitytojus buvo stengtasi personažą suasmeninti pritraukti prie šiuolaikinio vaiko kasdienybės ir gyvenimo. Siekiant šio tikslo iškelti tokie uždaviniai: 1. Išanalizuoti knygos struktūrą 2. Išnagrinėti vaikiškų knygų dizainą 3. Atlikti vaikų pagal amžiaus grupę analizę 4. Remiantis atlikta analize sukurti originalią vaikiškos knygos koncepciją 5. Įvertinti sukurtą knygą ekonominiu požiūriu 6. Pateikti apibendrintu darbo rezultatus Ši etnologinė knyga apie medžius gali padėti vaikams tiksliau pažinti Lietuvos flora ir kultūra, taip pat tai puiki pramoga lavinti vaizduotei.	en_US
