| dc.description | Relevance of the topic: The main reason why people increasingly visit the dental office for teeth whitening or take various measures to lighten the color of teeth at home is due to the popularity of aesthetic appearance in advertisements or the general media. For many people, tooth color can affect their quality of life and psychosocial status, so people try to whiten their teeth in a variety of ways. For this reason, the teeth whitening procedure is one of the most sought after cosmetic treatments in dentistry. The research problem - what is patients opinion about the influence of teeth whitening on the occurrence of tooth discoloration and sensitivity? The object of the research – patients opinion about the influence of teeth whitening on the occurrence of tooth color changes and sensitivity. The aim of the study - to reveal patients opinion about the influence of teeth whitening on the occurrence of tooth discoloration and sensitivity. Tasks: 1. Discuss the course, methods and possible side effects of the teeth whitening procedure. 2. Describe the factors that determine teeth color. 3. Describe the factors that lead to the occurrence of increased teeth sensitivity. 4. To reveal patients' opinions about teeth sensitivity and teeth discoloration after whitening procedure using different whitening methods. Research methodology and subjects: quantitative research has been performed. The data collection method was an online questionnaire, in which 166 respondents participated at random. Descriptive statistics calculations were chosen for data analysis. The main results of the empirical research: The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents have undergone or would like to undergo a teeth whitening procedure, which means that this cosmetic dental procedure is popular and effective these days, as even more than 80% of respondents have their teeth brightened. In addition to positive results, teeth whitening procedures can cause complications, the most common of which are hypersensitivity to teeth. More than 50% of respondents complain about tooth sensitivity. It causes pain and discomfort in daily life, but there are a variety of ways to help reduce tooth sensitivity. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Temos aktualumas: pagrindinė priežastis, kodėl žmonės vis dažniau apsilanko odontologiniame kabinete dantų balinimui arba imasi įvairių priemonių pašviesinti dantų spalvą namuose, tai dėl išpopuliarintos estetinės išvaizdos reklamose ar visuotinėje žiniasklaidoje. Daugeliui žmonių dantų spalva gali turėti įtakos jų gyvenimo kokybei ir psichosocialinei būsenai, todėl žmonės bando įvairiais būdais pašviesinti dantis. Dėl šios priežasties dantų balinimo procedūra yra viena iš labiausiai prašomų kosmetinių gydymo procedūrų odontologijoje. Tyrimo problema – kokia pacientų nuomonė apie dantų balinimo įtaką dantų spalvos pokyčių ir jautrumo atsiradimui? Tyrimo objektas – pacientų nuomonė apie dantų balinimo įtaka dantų spalvos pokyčių ir jautrumo atsiradimui. Tyrimo tikslas – Atskleisti pacientų nuomonę apie dantų balinimo įtaką dantų spalvos pokyčių ir jautrumo atsiradimui. Uždaviniai: 1. Aptarti dantų balinimo procedūros eigą, būdus bei galimus šalutinius poveikius. 2. Aprašyti veiksnius, lemiančius dantų spalvą. 3. Aprašyti veiksnius, lemiančius padidėjusį dantų jautrumo atsiradimą. 4. Atskleisti pacientų nuomonę apie dantų jautrumą ir dantų spalvos pokytį po balinimo procedūros, naudojant skirtingus balinimo metodus. Tyrimo metodika ir tiriamieji: atliktas kiekybinis tyrimas. Duomenų rinkimo metodu pasirinkta anketinė apklausa internetu, kurioje sudalyvavo 166 respondentai atsitiktiniu būdu. Duomenų analizei pasirinkta aprašomosios statistikos skaičiavimai. Pagrindiniai empirinio tyrimo rezultatai: Atlikti tyrimo rezultatai parodė, kad didžioji dalis respondentų yra atlikę arba norėtų atlikti dantų balinimo procedūrą, tai reiškia, kad ši kosmetinė dantų gydymo procedūra šiomis dienomis yra populiari ir veiksminga, nes net daugiau nei 80% atsakiusiųjų dantys pašviesėjo. Be teigiamų rezultatų, dantų balinimo procedūros gali sukelti komplikacijas, iš kurių dažniausiai pasitaikanti – padidėjęs dantų jautrumas. Dantų jautrumu skundžiasi daugiau nei 50% apklaustųjų. Jis sukelia skausmą ir diskomfortą kasdieniniame gyvenime, tačiau yra įvairių būdų, padėsiančių sumažinti padidėjusį dantų jautrumą. | en_US |
