dc.description	Women’s Knowledge about Incompatibility of Cosmetic Ingredients. Knowledge, women, incompatibility, ingredients, reaction. Cosmetic ingredients tend to interact with one another, much like chemical substances. Even though such reactions should increase the effectiveness of cosmetic products, that is not always the case. Sometimes, reactions between the ingredients tend to weaken the overall effects of the product and even cause harm to the skin. The active ingredients that we expect to bring benefits to our skin seem to lose their good qualities upon reaction with other ingredients. Influenced by marketing, women often purchase facial products, especially the expensive ones that contain active ingredients. However, only some of them are aware that the amount of active ingredients that the skin takes in is much smaller than expected, considering their steep price. According to Shaaban and Alhajir (2020), adverse skin reactions occur due to unreasonable use of cosmetics and the abundance of different products. This is caused by incompatibility of cosmetic ingredients. Adverse facial skin reactions include sensitivity of the skin, swelling, redness and, in rarer cases, rashes. Scientific literature speaks a lot about incompatibility of medications but information on interactions of ingredients is lacking, despite its harm to the skin and the body. The research question is as follows: what knowledge do women have about the incompatibility of cosmetic ingredients? The research object is the knowledge of women about incompatibility of cosmetic ingredients. The goal of the study is to discuss the knowledge of women about the incompatibility of cosmetic ingredients. The knowledge of women about the incompatibility of cosmetic ingredients, the purchasing and using habits of skin care products by women and the interaction of the active ingredients and their negative qualities were assessed during the research. The analysis of scientific and professional literature was aimed at reviewing the demand of skin care products and the women’s habits of using them theoretically. Research objectives: to determine the interaction of the active ingredients and their negative qualities; to carry out the research to reveal the women’s knowledge about the incompatibility of cosmetic ingredients. A total of 108 women participated in the research. The received data showed that women were interested in the chemical reactions of the ingredients of skin care products; however, the majority of them did not recognize those reactions. According to Wu, Lee (2016) and Shaaban, Alhajir (2020), the respondents were expected to purchase more skin care products and have bad habits of using too many products. The research revealed that women rarely purchased daily skin care 8 products, took care to consider the ingredients of the purchased products, used them with moderation and did not mix too many different products.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Moterų žinios apie kosmetikos produktuose esančių ingredientų nesuderinamumą. Žinios, moterys, nesuderinamumas, ingredientai, reakcijos Kosmetikos produktuose esantys ingredientai tarpusavyje sąveikauja kaip cheminės medžiagos. Nors tikimasi, kad tai padidins priemonių efektyvumą, tačiau kartais reakcijos tarp sudėtinių dalių lemia ne tik silpnesnį, bet ir žalingą poveikį odai. Neretais atvejais aktyvūs ingredientai, iš kurių tikimės naudos savo veido odai, sureagavę praranda savo gerąsias savybes. Dėl marketingo daromos įtakos moterys dažnai perka veido priežiūros priemones. Daugelis moterų naudoja brangias priemones su aktyviaisiais ingredientais. Tačiau nedaugelis jų žino, jog galiausiai odai gerųjų ingredientų tenka ne tiek kiek yra tikėtasi sumokėjus aukštą kainą. Pasak Shaaban ir Alhajir, (2020) dėl nesaikingo kosmetinių produktų naudojimo ir skirtingų priemonių gausos atsiranda nepageidaujamos veido odos reakcijos. Taip atsitinka dėl ingredientų nesuderinamumo. Nepageidaujamos veido odos reakcijos pasireiškia: veido odos jautrumu, tinimu, odos raudoniu retesniais atvejais veido odos bėrimai. Yra daug mokslinės literatūros apie vaistų nesuderinamumą, tačiau mažai apie ingredientų tarpusavio reakcijas, nors žala veido odai ir organizmui yra vienodai svarbi. Šio tyrimo pagrindinė problema atskeidžia kokios moterų žinios apie kosmetikos produktuose esančių ingredientų nesuderinamumą? Tyrimo objektas moterų žinios apie kosmetikos produktuose esančių ingredientų nesuderinamumą. Pagrindinis tyrimo tikslas atskleisti moterų žinias apie kosmetikos produktuose esančių ingredientų nesuderinamumą Tyrime buvo atskleistos moterų žinios apie kosmetikos produktuose esančių ingredientų nesuderinamumą, moterų kosmetikos perkamumas ir naudojimo įpročiai bei aktyvių ingredientų tarpusavio sąveika ir neigiamos savybės. Pagrindinis uždavinys buvo išsiaiškinti moterų žinias apie kosmetikos produktuose esančių ingredientų nesuderinamumą. Mokslinės ir profesinės literatūros analizė, kurios tikslas teoriniame lygmenyje apžvelgti kosmetikos perkamumą, moterų priemonių naudojimo įpročius. Išsiaiškinti aktyvių ingredientų tarpusavio sąveiką ir neigiamas savybes. Atlikti tyrimą, kuris atskleistų moterų žinias apie kosmetikos produktuose esančių ingredientų nesuderinamumą. Tyrime dalyvavo 108 moterys. Gauti duomenys parodė, kad moterys domisi ingredientų cheminėmis reakcijomis. Tačiau dauguma reakcijų neatpažino. Remiantis literatūra Wu,Lee, (2016) ir Shaaban,Alhajir, (2020) buvo tikėtasi kad, respondentės pasižymės didesniu produktų pirkimu ir nesaikingo naudojimo įpročiais. Atlikus tyrimą paaiškėjo, jog moterys kasdienės kosmetikos priemones perka retai, perkant atsižvelgia į produkte esančių ingredientų sudėtį, naudoja saikingai ir tarpusavyje nemaišo daug skirtingų produktų.	en_US
